Ride the Kirby Train in Osaka and Kyoto with Hankyu Railway
Hankyu Railway and Nintendo's Kirby collaborate! The Kirby-go train runs from August 22, 2025, to March 17, 2026, on Kobe, Takarazuka, and Kyoto Lines.
Hankyu Railway Collaborates with Kirby
Starting from August 22, a Kirby-go painted train will be in operation. Additionally, from September 2, stamp rally events, one-day ticket passes, photo spots will be introduced, and background music from Kirby will be played. Moreover, from Wednesday, September 10th, collaborative merchandise and gashapon (capsule toy) will also be launched.
Train Body Design

Using scenic views along the line as inspiration, the original design of Kirby × Hankyu Railway is decorated on the first and last cars. The design may vary depending on the route.
Original Front Car Marks

The original front car marks of Kirby × Hankyu Railway will be displayed on both the first and last cars of the train (front and rear cars).
Kids Along for the Ride

Kirby and Waddle Dee will wear specially designed hats and accompany passengers inside the cab of the painted train.

In-Train Posters (Hanging Inside Cars, Next to Doors, Above Passageways) and Stickers


Inside the package train, posters and stickers featuring the original design of Kirby × Hankyu Railway are posted, along with hanging posters that review the history of Kirby.
Photo Spots

Seven photo spots will be set up where visitors can take photos with characters like Kirby.
(Stamp spots include: Kiddyland Kobe Sannomiya Store, Hankyu Nishinomiya Greenhouse, Takarazuka Station, Belflora Kawanishi, Emile Takatsuki, Hankyu Kyoto Sightseeing Center/Kawaramachi, Noses Electric Yamashita Station)
Kirby × Hankyu Train Hankyu Railway and Hankyu Bus All-Line One-Day Pass

It is recommended to use the special original one-day travel pass when riding the train. During the validity period, holders can freely use the Hankyu Railway lines (excluding Kobe Rapid Line) and Hankyu Bus (excluding some routes). There are two versions: Hankyu version and Nose version.

Kirby × Hankyu Railway Operation Details
- Operating Period: August 22, 2025 – March 17, 2026
- Target Vehicles: One trainset each on the Kobe Line, Takarazuka Line, and Kyoto Line, totaling three trainsets (Series 1000 and Series 1300)
- Note: The operation schedule is irregular.
