Ainan Town in Ehime Prefecture is a peaceful little town located about two and a half hours by car from Matsuyama Airport in Ehime Prefecture and Ryoma Airport in Kochi Prefecture. Home to Kanjizai-ji Temple, the 40th of the 88 temples of Shikoku, the town is visited by Japanese and foreign pilgrims. It is popular for fishing, diving, and various other sea activities. The town is also blessed with fresh, delicious fish, shellfish, and citrus fruits.

We would like to introduce you to Umiiro Cabin, a rental accommodation facility that opened in September 2023 in this small town rich in nature.

There is no train service, but it is easily accessible, just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop "Hirajo Fudasho-mae." There is also free parking for four cars next door, making it convenient to access by car.

It's a quiet residential area along the river with a tennis court across the street.

Kanjizai-ji Temple, convenience stores, izakayas, cafes, and restaurants are all within walking distance, making your stay convenient.

In the small space in front of the house, you can relax in the shade with a parasol or gaze at the beautiful starry sky at night. Some people even have breakfast here.

Facility & Amenity Details 

The first room you come into through the entrance is a bedroom/living room, with the calming ocean color of the walls. The interior, inspired by the colors of the sea and sand, enhances the sense of the extraordinary and excitement. The slightly unusual, artistic fish embroidery next to the sofa adds an accent.

There are two high beds and two low beds neatly lined up, and when the low beds are pushed together, small children can sleep safely together. The mattresses are made by France Bed, so even those who prioritize comfort can sleep comfortably. There are also power outlets in convenient locations. An extra bed can be added when 5 people are staying.

The next room is a counter kitchen. Above the counter is blue and orange lighting that evokes the ocean and mandarin oranges, and on the other side of the counter is the kitchen space.

The spacious kitchen with dishwasher is easy to use and perfect for cooking together. Dishes, pots, rice cooker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, seasonings, etc. are also provided.

You can also enjoy the atmosphere of a cafe or bar.

A drum washing machine with detergent and dryer is provided. Convenient for long-term stays.

The spacious bathroom is equipped with a counter, bath chair, washbasin, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and other amenities.

Open the kitchen window and you'll find a screen of surfboards.

The price varies depending on the season and day of the week, but it is around 20,000 yen to rent the entire building. It can accommodate up to 4-5 people, so if you divide the price by the number of people, it is a reasonable price to stay. Dogs are also welcome to stay for 1,500 yen each.

How to Access Umiiro Cabin

Ainan Town is located on the border with Kochi Prefecture, making it convenient for visiting both Ehime and Kochi. We encourage you to try renting an entire house and experience the feeling of a vacation home. There are also wonderful gifts, such as citrus welcome sorbet, which we think will be a fun experience.
