SHIBUYA SKY Winter Special Event Sparkling View

Located on the 14th, 45th, 46th floors and the rooftop, the observation facility SHIBUYA SKY will hold a winter special event called Sparkling View. With the theme Admiring the sparkling winter scenery from above Shibuya, it will present glittering winter views that can only be seen at SHIBUYA SKY.

This summer’s newly introduced in-house developed panoramic lighting system NEBULA will envelop the entire space in light effects, and sound artist evala will provide immersive spatial audio to combine visual and auditory elements into an upgraded immersive experience. Mirror balloons and a performance integrating light and sound will serve as a new winter installation symbolizing SHIBUYA SKY, offering visitors a special moment.

On the rooftop observation area SKY STAGE, a sky-reaching illuminated tree called the Sparkling Light Tree will be exhibited. During the event, after 19:00 each day, a special performance called Special Celebration, combining light, sound, and bubbles, will be held every 30 minutes. Building on last year’s highly praised bubble performance and expanding it in scale, bubbles dancing through the night sky in time with the lights will make the winter nights and cityscape even more sparkling.

How to View: Anyone holding a SHIBUYA SKY admission ticket or annual pass for the day of the event may view the display.

Highlight 1: Special cocktail bar SAKEKOTOBAR

A limited-time bar, SAKEKOTOBAR, will appear. Themed on sake words, it offers original cocktails that let guests easily express their feelings and deepen connections. Guests can choose the drink that best matches their mood from sake words such as celebration and gentleness.

This time, bartenders including the dashing Lily (RIRIKA FURUYAMA) from the well-known tequila bar were invited to collaborate in developing about ten original cocktails that resonate with the concept. Visitors can enjoy a precious moment that can only be experienced at this special location with views over the Shibuya streets. The editor sampled one of the drinks, Forsty star, which has a lychee-like sweetness and is very refreshing.Event Period: November 6 – December 25, 2025

Highlight 2: Photo booth BIG PHOTO BOX

To enhance the Christmas atmosphere, a photo booth called BIG PHOTO BOX has been installed. You can take a special photo using original frames to capture a memorable moment. Turn the unique moments you share with important people or your favorite things here into lasting memories. The editor also took a commemorative photo on-site with the staff; we recommend taking photos with two people — three might make the frame a little crowded.
