Some farms are within walking distance from Seibu-Chichibu Station, about an hour and a half on the Seibu Railway, while others have shuttle buses from Seibu-Chichibu Station, making it easy to access by train.

Chichibu Fruit Farm

Chichibu Fruit Farm is conveniently located near Seibu-Chichibu Station, for families and groups to enjoy.
A tourist farm located along Route 140.

Enjoy all-you-can-eat sweet and wholesome strawberries for 30 minutes, infused with enzymes.

There are lockers with locks in this greenhouse, so you can leave your stuff and freely pick strawberries.

After strawberry picking, you can also try the stone barbecue course!

Open: Until Sunday, May 14, 2023 *Open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays

Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (last admission by 2:30 p.m.)

Directions: Take a bus from Seibu Chichibu Station, get off at Tanosawa Iriguchi bus stop, and walk about 1 minute .

Uenohara Orchards

Uenohara Orchards has a wide variety of ripe strawberries, like "Tochiotome" with its well-balanced sweet and sour taste and "Benihoppe" with its large and fruity flavor.

Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on weekdays, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays (last admission at 3:00 p.m.)

Directions: Shuttle buses are available from Yokoze Station and Seibu-Chichibu Station at opening time (please contact the farm for details). 

Komatsuzawa Leisure Farm

This is a recreational spot where you can have fun with your children all day long.

In addition to strawberry picking, you can pick grapes and sweet potatoes depending on the season, as well as experience harvesting, hiking, and barbequing.

Komatsuzawa Leisure Farm has four strawberry greenhouses, and each day visitors are guided to a different location.

If you're lucky, you may even get to pick the famously sweet "Amarin" strawberries...!

A free shuttle bus is available from Yokoze Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, so if you are coming by train, we recommend that you take the shuttle bus.
