Keisei Rose Garden

The Alice Tour involves riding a special Victorian-style car through the garden's grounds to discover its secret new delights. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery while taking in the gorgeous colorful sights and smells of the rose garden.

Keisei Rose Garden

Keisei Rose Garden is home to more than 10,000 roses of over 1,600 varieties! It is one of the largest rose gardens in eastern Japan.

The multitude of flowers of different colors will make you feel as if you are in another world! It's a great place to bring family members and friends for a day out, and wonderful for photography.

After exploring the Alice forest by ride, head on over to the gardens' open grounds on foot and take your time to appreciate the sights and smells of the garden at your own pace.

Floating fresh flowers paint the elegant fountains of water in the garden. Acting as the centerpiece of the grounds, the fountain sits in the center of the beautiful and lively site, bringing a refreshing twist to the surroundings with its combination of clean sparkling water and brilliantly colored roses.

The fountain can be used as a landmark to navigate this large flourishing garden.

2. Dreamlike Installations

Keisei Rose Garden

The Spring Merry-Go-Round is one of the most popular rides at Kei Rose Garden. The original decorations have been changed to the vibrant colors found in the Alice in Wonderland series.

Have fun with your loved ones and sit on the back of a wooden golden and black horse and peacefully float around amongst the roses.

Tickets for the merry-go-round can be purchased at the cafe counter located in front of the greenhouse on the day of your visit. Price: 700 yen per person.

Marvel at a glass dome of glittering colors in the garden's large greenhouse!

The dome is adorned with iridescent glass that glitters in the sun, casting gorgeous kaleidoscope patterns of vibrant purple, pink, and blue patterns onto the floor of the greenhouse. This magical installation makes you feel as if you have entered the bizarre and upside-down world of "Through The Looking Glass," the popular Alice in Wonderland spin-off novel.

The gigantic 6-meter large glass dome was created by the art group Mirror Bowler, known for their unique installations across Japan such as the projection mapping that lit up the Tower of the Sun at the Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Osaka. Together with Nihon Akaru Expo, one of Japan's largest light exhibition organizers, they have created this beautiful installation fitting the Alice and Wonderland theme of the garden!

Spot the rose motif in the center of this installation and stroll under the glistening projection of colors from the translucent glass on a sunny day.

3. Taste Delicious Treats Served in Wonderland

Keisei Rose Garden

Keisei Rose Garden is offering playful delights limited to this event.

The beautifully designed ice cream inspired by the rose gardens in Alice and Wonderland comes in different refreshing flavors such as raspberry and blueberry. These cool treats are perfect for refreshing yourself on a hot sunny day!

Keisei Rose Garden

The White Rabbit Rose Mixed Ice Cream (700 yen) is available at Cafe Patio, located next to Restaurant La Rose.

This vanilla and rose flavored delight is topped with adorable chocolate rabbit ears. The cone is a unique dark black making the colors of the soft cream stand out. Spot the chocolate Cheshire Cat that is playfully climbing the dessert, a fun addition to this already adorable ice cream.

Keisei Rose Garden

The Red and White Rose Gelato ~Let's paint the roses red~ (1,000 yen, limited on weekends) is offered at da Luciano, a mobile sales vehicle in the Rose Garden.

Inspired by one of the funniest scenes in Alice in Wonderland, in which the soldiers have started to paint the roses red for the Queen of Hearts, this ingeniously designed treat has a splash of red raspberry-flavored ice cream. Enjoy the flavorful combination of smooth raspberry and pear sorbet ice cream while holding what looks like a rose straight from the movie.

The Cat Gelato (600 yen) can also be found at da Luciano. This is a delicious Cheshire Cat ice cream, in which strawberry milk, and blueberry yogurt flavored swirls mix together to represent the stripes from the franchise's popular and mischievous purple cat.

Playfully topped with upside-down heart chocolate creating the appearance of cat ears, this dessert is a must for cat lovers.

Keisei Rose Garden

The Rose Chocolate Sandwiches (1,200 yen/box) are available for purchase at the Rose Shop.

Here to make you as beautiful as a rose, this crunchy chocolate sandwich is said to improve blood circulation and brighten one's complexion. This is due to the superfoods that have been blended to make the delicious wafer, made from powdered organic damask rose petals, and beetroot. You can enjoy this delicious sandwich that has white chocolate in the middle while smelling roses and staying healthy.

Keisei Rose Garden

The Koi Kogare Rose Seedlings are also available for purchase at the garden center. In addition to delicious food that can be bought at the gardens you have the opportunity to purchase your very own rose seeds! Nurture and watch as the flowers bloom bringing a cheerful color to your home.

Plenty of gardening goods are also available at the garden center and some have a special sale this spring, so make sure to stop by the shop.

Visiting the Kesei Rose Garden is a chance to spend an elegant day out that will leave you feeling like you visited a land of fairytales!
