The instigator is Yuki Wada, who lives in Higashiosaka! (Top left of photo)

I am a Japanese chef who stayed in Canada for about 3 years starting in 2020.

The impetus for this program was, of course, my stay in Canada. Ms. Wada, who has worked in restaurants for a long time, has always felt uncomfortable with the fact that the food served at Japanese restaurants differs from the original Japanese food just by image. Real Japanese food isn't like this. . . I want people to know proper Japanese food. It seems that he has always had such thoughts.

Then, in January 2023, she returned to Japan. I started this program at Takio Guest House based on my experience working at a restaurant and my desire to help people learn about authentic Japanese cuisine!

It is currently on sale on the airbnb trial page.

(See the end for details.)

On the day I visited for the interview, two cute people from Hawaii were participating. One of the participants runs a restaurant in Hawaii, and wanted to learn how to make Japanese food. I'm glad that you are interested in Japanese culture. Spend about 2 hours and experience making miso soup and tempura. Tempura is difficult even for us Japanese people. Ms. Wada might have a secret technique for making delicious food.

They are having a lot of fun!

Ready to eat!

We received feedback that the recruitment photo and the actual content we created were really the same, and that it was great.

And there's actually one more wonderful thing!

One of the reasons was that Ms. Wada's friend was also in attendance.

``I would like Japanese people who want to interact with foreigners to participate as well,'' says Mr. Wada.

It is also a place for interaction between Japanese and foreign tourists.

Now, it's time to eat! !

Enjoy rice cooked in a clay pot and Ms.Wada's homemade pickles!

When I interviewed them, I was taken aback by their words, but they were really delicious. The atmosphere of Takio Guest House and the meal make a good combination, there is a warmth that feels like having a meal with family.
