From JR Hakata Station, change to the Shinkansen at Takeo and it's one stop away from Ureshino Onsen Station, from where it's about a 7-minute drive.

Ureshino Onsen Station on the Nishikyushu Shinkansen line, which opened in 2022.

It is convenient to take the express train from Hakata Station and then transfer to the Shinkansen at Takeo Onsen Station on the same platform. It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to get to Ureshino Onsen Station from Hakata Station.

It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Fukuoka area such as Hakata Station and Fukuoka Airport via expressway. It takes about 30 minutes from Nagasaki Airport.

Get off the highway at Ureshino Interchange and it's about a 5-minute drive to Ureshino Yasohachi!

[If coming by express bus]

If you take the "Kyushu-go" express bus, which departs from Hakata Station or Fukuoka Airport International Terminal, you will arrive at Ureshino Onsen in about two hours.

Although there are fewer buses running, there are some that will get you off at Ureshino Bus Center, which is conveniently located just a three-minute walk from Ureshino Yasohachi.

Even if you are taking a bus that does not stop at Ureshino Bus Center but does stop at Ureshino Interchange, we will pick you up free of charge if you contact us in advance, so please feel free to use our service!

1. All-inclusive

An all-inclusive plan is available for guests staying in the annex.

With Ureshino Yasohachi's all-inclusive plan, you can enjoy a welcome glass of sparkling wine, fruit platters and sweets, drinks from your room's fridge, drinks during dinner, cocktails made with tea available at the bar, and a tea ceremony where you can leisurely savor Ureshino tea, all at no extra charge.

The highest grade villa luxury suite room is equipped with a half open-air bath with 100% natural hot spring water, as well as a private sauna and cold bath where you can enjoy self-loyly with tea aromas, allowing you to enjoy a variety of things centered around Ureshino tea and hot springs. Guests who stay here often say, "One night is not enough time!"

2. 100% natural hot spring water

Ureshino Onsen is one of Japan's three most famous hot springs for beautiful skin, and is characterized by its colorless, transparent water and smooth texture.

Baking soda springs, which contain a lot of sodium, emulsify and wash away skin and secretions, and it is said that after bathing you will be left with smooth, silky, beautiful skin, as if you have just peeled off a layer.

All 36 rooms at Ureshino Yasohachi are equipped with 100% natural hot springs that can be enjoyed 24 hours a day. In addition to the rooms, you can also enjoy 100% natural hot springs in the open-air baths and sauna on the first floor of the main building.

3. Tea ceremony by a dedicated tea master

Ureshino tea has hundreds of years of history and a deep flavor that has been handed down through the generations.

At Ureshino Yasohachi, we hold tea ceremonies every day, with the assistance of two active Ureshino tea farmers, Kitano Shuichi, the third generation owner of Kitano Tea Farm, and Tanaka Hiroshi, the third generation owner of Tanaka Tea Factory, as our exclusive tea masters.

The tea master himself will explain the culture and history of tea, how to brew and taste tea, how to choose sweets, and more, allowing guests to experience the beauty of "tea" right in front of their eyes.

4. Meals made with abundant ingredients from within 88 km of Ureshino

The head chef personally visits producers over the course of a year to carefully select the seafood and mountain produce. Please enjoy to your heart's content our proud dishes made with the most carefully selected ingredients.

[Prix fixe course meal]

Dinner is served as a prix fixe menu. Guests can choose three dishes, including a main course, from three to five different menus according to their preference.

*From July 2025, the prix fixe kaiseki dinner will be available only to guests staying in the annex. Guests staying in the main house will be served the Yasohachi Basic Kaiseki and Yasohachi Special Selection Kaiseki, carefully selected by the head chef according to the season.

You can order your favorite dishes from a selection of seasonal ingredients that change daily, depending on how you feel that day. Enjoy your meal while chatting with the chef, feeling the excitement of watching the food being prepared right in front of you.

Breakfast

We have a set menu that is perfect for waking up in the morning, including Ureshino Yasohachi's original hot spring tofu, made from 100% Saga Prefecture soybeans and Fukuyutaka, and a fresh, locally grown raw vegetable salad. You can choose from Japanese or Western cuisine.

5. A shop selling tea, snacks and miscellaneous goods from within 88 km of Ureshino

We offer a wide range of products, including Ureshino tea which can be enjoyed during tea ceremonies and throughout the hotel, sweets and miscellaneous goods made with ingredients from within 88 kilometers of Ureshino, amenities such as lotions in the rooms, and original products that can only be purchased at Ureshino Yasohachi.

6. A bar where you can enjoy cocktails made with tea

At BAR Chatsubo, you can spend some time relaxing and sipping tea and tea cocktails while gazing at the water garden.

The space exudes a stately atmosphere, using building materials and fixtures from the villa of the Omura clan that once stood on this land.

7. Children are welcome! Kids Room

At Ureshino Yadoya, we want children to enjoy their stay while experiencing tea, so we have prepared a kids' room on the first floor of the main building. It is called the Children's Tea Room "Ochanoko Saisai."

In addition to a kids' room with picture books, toys, and colorful hanging chairs where children can play, there is also a space where children can casually enjoy tea.

In addition to picture books for children, we also have books for parents, so please come and spend some quality time with your family.

8. A dry sauna with a subtle tea scent and a loyly sauna with tea aroma

The men's and women's baths are each equipped with a tea aroma auto-loyly sauna and a dry sauna with a tea incense burner.

After soaking in the beauty-enhancing waters of Ureshino Onsen, refresh yourself in the sauna surrounded by the aroma of tea, then enjoy an outdoor bath with a pleasant breeze.
