What is Fujiten Snow Resort?

Fujiten Snow Resort is a ski resort located at the 1st station of Mt. Fuji.

In addition to enjoying winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding with the impressive Mt. Fuji in the background, you can also enjoy the majestic view of Mt. Fuji from the "Mt. Fuji Observation Deck" by riding the "Mt. Fuji Observation Lift" (only available on weekdays) even if you don't ski or snowboard. 

Also, "sledding'' is a popular activity among overseas travelers who can easily enjoy playing in the snow. There is a slope exclusively for sledding, so you can enjoy sledding without worrying about your surroundings.

This is a must-visit tourist spot for sightseeing around Fuji Five Lakes and Lake Kawaguchiko  in winter!

Access from Tokyo (Shinjuku)

It takes about 2 hours by train or 90 minutes by express bus from Tokyo (Shinjuku) to Kawaguchiko Sta.. I think the express bus is a little faster, but there is a risk of traffic jams, so if you have plenty of time, please use the express bus!

The convenient way to access Fujiten Snow Resort from Kawaguchiko Sta. is by using the "Fujiten Shuttle Bus", which runs for a limited time from December 23, 2023 to February 29, 2024, from behind the Fujikankokaihatsu Building in front of Kawaguchiko Station. Advance reservations are required, so please be sure to make a reservation.

About Fujiten Shuttle Bus

■Operation period: Operates daily from Saturday, December 23, 2023 to Thursday, February 29, 2024

■Timetable: Departing from Kawaguchiko station 9:50am／11:00am

　　　　　　From Fujiten 3:30pm／5:00pm

It takes about 30 minutes between Kawaguchiko Sta. and Fujiten.

■Price: 3,500 yen (tax included) for adults and children

*Children under 3 years old who do not require a seat are free of charge. If you use a seat, you will be charged an adult rate.

■How to apply

Advance reservations are required. (Please make a reservation by 3pm the day before)

Parking lot behind Kawaguchiko Station "Fujikankokaihatsu" building

The reception is on the 1st floor of the Fuji Tourism Development Building.
