What is Fujiten Snow Resort?

Fujiten Snow Resort is a ski resort on Mt. Fuji located at an altitude of 1,300 meters at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture, and is easily accessible from Shinjuku, Tokyo in just 90 minutes by car.

When is Fujiten Snow Resort open?

Fujiten Resort is normally open from mid-December to early April . Immediately after opening or after late March, the number of courses may be limited and the amount of snow on the slopes may be low, so if you want to enjoy skiing in good slope conditions, we recommend January to early March.

2. Skiing and snowboarding

If you are new to skiing or snowboarding, we recommend the "concierge tour". They will carefully tell you what to rent and how to ski. If this is your first time, please apply for a concierge tour. 3. View the impressive Mt. Fuji from the observation deck (weekdays only)

Although it is only available on weekdays, even if you don't ski or snowboard, you can ride the Mt. Fuji Observation Lift and see the impressive Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko spreading out below from the observation deck at the top of the mountain.

Enjoy a 15-minute walk in the air with Mt. Fuji directly in front of you, and view the majestic Mt. Fuji from the Mt. Fuji observation deck at the top of Mt. Tenjin. 4. Enjoy the famous gourmet food that can only be tasted here

There are three restaurants at Fujiten Snow Resort, but two of them can be used even if you don't ski or snowboard. "Yodele" and "Cologne" in the center house.

At Yodel, located on the second floor of the center house, you can enjoy Fujiten Snow Resort's famous dishes such as Mt. Fuji Curry and Beef Suki Plate. At "Cologne" on the 1st floor, you can enjoy noodles and rice bowls including original ramen. After enjoying playing in the snow, warm yourself up from the core with some delicious gourmet food.

If you are coming from Tokyo by car, use the Chuo Expressway. Take Otsuki JCT towards Lake Kawaguchiko/ Lake Yamanakako, get off at Lake Kawaguchiko IC, and then drive for about 20 minutes on National Route 139 towards Narusawa.

The ski resort has a large parking lot that can accommodate 2,500 cars. Parking is free on weekdays, but on weekends and holidays, a parking fee of 1,000 yen per regular car is required.

If you are going to Fujiten from Tokyo using public transportation, the nearest station is Kawaguchiko Sta. on the Fujikyuko Line.
