When is Fujiten Snow Resort open?

Fujiten Resort is usually open from mid-December to early April . Immediately after opening and from late March onwards, the number of runs is limited and the amount of snow on the slopes is low, so if you want to enjoy skiing in good conditions, we recommend going from January to early March.

2. Skiing and snowboarding

If you are new to skiing or snowboarding, we recommend the concierge tour. They will carefully explain what you should rent and how to ski. 3. See the impressive Mt. Fuji from the observation deck (weekdays only)

Although it is only available on weekdays, even if you are not skiing or snowboarding, you can take the "Mt. Fuji Observation Lift" and get a panoramic view of the impressive Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko below from the observation deck at the top of the mountain.

Enjoy a 15-minute aerial stroll on the lift with Mt. Fuji directly in front of you, and view the majestic Mt. Fuji from the Mt. Fuji observation deck at the top of "Tenjinyama." On the way back, enjoy another aerial stroll and see the Aokigahara Jukai forest and Lake Kawaguchiko spread out below you.

4. Enjoy local gourmet food that can only be found here

Fujiten Snow Resort has three restaurants, two of which can be used by anyone, even if you are not skiing or snowboarding. These are "Yodel" and "Kern" located in the Center House.

At "Yodel" on the second floor of the Center House, you can enjoy Fujiten Snow Resort's specialties, such as "Mt. Fuji Curry" and "Beef Sukiyaki Plate." At "Koln" on the first floor, you can enjoy noodles and rice bowls, including original ramen. After enjoying playing in the snow, warm up your body from the inside out with some hot gourmet food.

If you are coming by car from Tokyo, take the Chuo Expressway. Head towards Lake Kawaguchiko/ Lake Yamanakako at Otsuki JCT, exit at Lake Kawaguchiko IC, and then take National Route 139 towards Narusawa for about 20 minutes to arrive at the hotel.

The ski resort has a large parking lot that can accommodate 2,500 cars. It is free to use on weekdays, but on weekends and holidays, a parking fee of 1,000 yen per standard car is required.

If you are going to Fujiten from Tokyo using public transportation, the nearest station is Kawaguchiko Sta. on the Fujikyuko Line.
