Welcome sweets

Upon arrival, please enjoy local Japanese sweets and matcha green tea, a specialty of Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture. (Available until arrival around 5pm)

Uchikake experience

You can actually wear the uchikake displayed in the building and take photos. There are various colors, such as white, pink, orange, and red. This can be done almost any time the front desk is not busy, so please feel free to ask.

16:30 Incense ceremony class

From 4:30pm, we will be holding a "Konko Class" where you can learn "Kodo", the art of incense, which allows you to fully enjoy the scent. (Advance reservation required, capacity approximately 6 people) You can actually enjoy fragrant woods. We will also talk about playing with incense.

Enjoy the time as the sun sets and the lights of the Ise-Shima Peninsula start to come on in the open-air bath above the clouds on the 10th floor, transitioning into night.

Please enjoy the bounty of the sea and land made with local ingredients. We also have a wide selection of drinks, including local Aichi sake.

8:30pm: Throwing fan

We also hold a fan throwing game from 8:30 to 9:00 pm. Fan throwing is a game where you throw a fan to hit a target. The points you get depend on how you hit the target. The points are named after the Tale of Genji. It's so addictive because you almost hit the target but you never quite do.

Incense and the Tale of Genji before going to bed

We have five types of incense in your room. You can burn your favorite scent while reading the Tale of Genji, available at the front desk, before going to sleep. We also have a manga version of the Tale of Genji, "Asakiyumemishi," available in both English and Japanese.

Breakfast is a nutritious Japanese set meal including local dried fish, giving you energy in the morning.

Coffee service

After breakfast, we have coffee ready for you to relax in the lounge. You can take your time to relax in the morning or plan your schedule for the day. Please enjoy your time here.
