Experience 660 years of history! Yin-Yang and Five Elements fortune telling and five-color lunch box at Saiku, the land of the Saio.

Saigū is a historic place where the Saiō, unmarried imperial women who played a sacred role at Ise Grand Shrine, lived for approximately 660 years, from the Asuka period to the Nanboku-chō period.

Here, divination based on Yin-Yang and the Five Elements was carried out, and various rituals were performed according to good or bad fortune.

At this historic site of Saigū, we offer a special experience that brings ancient wisdom into the modern world.

We will ask for your date of birth in advance and use this information to predict your fortune based on Yin-Yang and the Five Elements.

Afterwards, we will prepare a "Goshikisaizen bento" of organic dishes made with local ingredients, and give dietary advice on how to attract good fortune through the colors of the ingredients and cooking methods.

This special bento will be enjoyed in Nishiwakiden, a restored Heian-period shrine building at the historic site of Saigū.

Depending on the schedule, it may be offered at the Saiku History Museum.

This experience allows you to enjoy a special moment of refreshment for both body and mind through traditional Japanese fortune telling and cuisine.
