How to make a reservation

If you have a specific date you would like to have your photo taken, please let us know by email. We will check the availability and get back to you. Basically, we accept reservations in the following order:

1. Contact Mariecouture to resolve any questions or concerns you may have.

2. Tell Mariecouture the date you would like to have your photo taken

3. Check the availability and make a tentative reservation if the desired date is available.

4. After that, sign the application form and your reservation is officially completed.

① 3 to 5 months in advance: Contact us to resolve any questions or concerns

First, please contact us by email. Please let us know what you want to do or what you want to achieve with your partner at this time. We will think about how to make your wishes come true. Online consultations are also available, so let's have a meeting.

② 3 to 5 months before: Decide the desired shooting date and make a tentative reservation

If you think we can take the wedding photos you want, next, please tell us the date you would like to take the photos. We will check the availability of the photographer and the hairdresser who will be in charge of dressing you in the kimono and applying your makeup, and make a tentative reservation.

③3 to 5 months before: Decide on the shooting plan and create a quote

Once the location and other details have been decided, we will create a quote and send it to you by email.

④3 to 5 months before: Sign the application form and contract to officially confirm the reservation

If you confirm the quotation and there are no problems, we will send you an application form and a contract. Once you sign them, your reservation will be officially confirmed.

⑤2-3 months before: Choose your kimono

Please send us a photo of your whole body and your body measurements. Based on this information, we will pick out 2-3 kimonos that will suit you. We will send you photos of the selected kimonos, so you can choose your favorite one from them.

⑥1-2 months before: Please let us know if you have any ideas for the photos you want to take.

Please come to Mariecouture in Hida Takayama the day before the shoot and try on the kimono you selected in advance. We will also confirm the schedule for the next day's shoot together. Please get a good night's sleep the day before and be in good health on the day.
