This event is a large-scale costume exhibition being held in Hiroshima, the hometown of the three members, and brings together approximately 180 outfits, ranging from those worn in the music video for their major debut song "Linear Motor Girl" in 2005 to more recent outfits. In addition to the display of outfits selected by the members, costume patterns and design production materials will also be made available to the public, making it a rare opportunity.

This plan includes one set of okonomiyaki-style original design tickets and a limited commemorative okonomiyaki spatula (not for sale) with the exhibition logo, per adult. For breakfast, a Japanese and Western buffet is available where you can enjoy Hiroshima-style mini okonomiyaki, so you can enjoy the flavors of Hiroshima from the morning. Highlights of the special exhibition "Perfume COSTUME MUSEUM"

Perfume continues to perform at the forefront of the global stage. Sometimes they perform in front of audiences of tens of thousands of people. Their beautiful and original costumes have accompanied the three members, A-chan, Kashiyuka, and Nocchi, through their many challenges and joys.

This large-scale costume exhibition will display approximately 180 carefully selected costumes, starting from "Perfume COSTUME BOOK 2005-2020" (Bunka Publishing Bureau, 2020). It will chronologically trace Perfume's costumes since their major debut, and will also display costumes specially selected by the three members for this exhibition.

In addition, we will be showcasing the production materials that show the source of inspiration for the designs and patterns that will be shown for the first time. This exhibition will unravel the appeal of Perfume through the costumes that have been carefully preserved until now.

Enjoy art at the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, close to the hotel

Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art opened on May 3, 1989 as the first public art museum in Japan to fully exhibit contemporary art. As a symbol of the cultural promotion of Hiroshima City, it has continued to attract many visitors for over 30 years.

The museum building was designed by one of Japan's leading architects, Kisho Kurokawa. It is located in the lush greenery of Hijiyama Park, boasting a superb location with a panoramic view of Hiroshima city. The beautiful exterior of the building itself can be described as a work of art, expressing harmony with nature and the flow of time from the past to the future. The exterior walls of the building change materials from the base to the top, from natural stone, tile, and aluminum, symbolically representing the development of civilization and the passage of time.

This design incorporates Kurokawa's idea of symbiosis, and expresses his wish for a society in which nature and humans, the past and the future, and different cultures can coexist side by side.

On March 18, 2023, the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art completed a major renovation and reopened in a new form. With an expanded exhibition space and updated facilities, the museum has been reborn as a space where visitors can experience contemporary art in a more comfortable and in-depth way.

The renovation was designed to maximize the building's original appeal, allowing visitors to experience Kisho Kurokawa's architectural philosophy more deeply. The museum has a large collection of works by famous contemporary artists from Japan and abroad, and visitors can view works across a wide range of genres, including paintings, sculptures, photography, video, and installations.

In addition, various exhibitions and events are held throughout the year, so you will discover something new every time you visit. Hijiyama Park is a place where you can enjoy not only the art museum, but also beautiful nature and views.
