About the intention behind the BGM production (from DJ MOTIVE)

This time, we created an original piece of music for Hotel Resol Trinity Kanazawa to be used as background music within the hotel.

The theme was " urban resort music." We aimed to create music that quietly embraces the city of Kanazawa, where tradition and modernity coexist.

The central sound is the onomatopoeia "sharan sharan," which also appears on the hotel's website - the gentle, clear sound of Kaga Temari. He actually picked up several Kaga Temari, recorded their sounds, and incorporated them into the piece.

There are about six different sounds used. Each one is handmade, so there are subtle differences in pitch and resonance, and we carefully considered each individuality when creating the sound.

The genre is ambient music. I was conscious of creating a floating sound that makes use of environmental sounds and the margins of space. The rhythm is gentle, and I envisioned it being played in the lobby or guest rooms, so I placed importance on the tempo that would gradually relax the listener's mind and body.

The sound was inspired by Kanazawa's artistic cityscape, the beautiful interior of Hotel Resol Trinity Kanazawa, and the attentive service.

So that guests can take a breather when they arrive at the hotel after a long journey.
