A collaborative afternoon tea between a hotel and an aquarium!?

Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka will be hosting a collaborative afternoon tea with Kaiyukan, one of the world's largest aquariums, for a limited time from July 1st (Tuesday) to August 31st (Sunday), 2025.

We will be introducing in detail the afternoon tea that will be served under the name "Kaiyukan x Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka Collaboration Afternoon Tea Vol.2 - Connecting the Coral Sea and Sea Creatures with Sweets"!

Where is it taking place?

Afternoon tea will be served at Restaurant & Lounge Bar eu at Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka.

Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka is a hotel directly connected to Osaka Uehommachi Station. Osaka Uehommachi Station is just a 3-minute train ride from Namba in the center of Osaka, and a 10-minute subway ride from Umeda to Tanimachi 9-Chome, and then a 5-minute walk through the underground passage, making it extremely accessible.

What does afternoon tea include?

This collaborative afternoon tea will feature sweets that express the "Great Barrier Reef" aquarium, which has been reborn with the theme of "the vitality of coral," as well as the "King penguin chicks" born at Kaiyukan and the popular "ringed seal." Please enjoy them with savory dishes such as salads inspired by coral reefs.

About the Great Barrier Reef tank (Redirects to the Kaiyukan website)

The welcome drink "Deep Blue" (the glass on the left in the photo above) is a refreshing mocktail made with three layers of blue curacao syrup, cassis syrup, and carbonation, representing the Great Barrier Reef aquarium. The edge of the glass is decorated with paper art reminiscent of a diver. Drinks include Ronnefeldt black tea, original blend tea, coffee, and 20 other types of free-flowing drinks.

What are the times and prices?

The event will run from July 1st (Tuesday) to August 31st (Sunday), 2025, and afternoon tea will be served from 14:00 to 18:00. Reservations are required and must be made by 17:00 the day before!

The fee is 6,000 yen on weekdays and 6,500 yen on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Special events will also be held!

A special lecture will be held for two days only, on July 5th (Sat) and 6th (Sun), where the aquarium staff will talk about the creatures featured in the afternoon tea menu and the highlights of the aquarium. If you are interested, please come and join us.
