SANRIO FES 2026 in Minatomirai is a special event held to welcome the announcement of the 2026 Sanrio Character Award results on June 28. Since its inception in 2022, SANRIO FES is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year.

With the entire Yokohama Minatomirai area serving as the stage for this event, the main festivities will be held at PACIFICO Yokohama, alongside various exciting collaboration projects taking place at surrounding facilities.

During the event period, a stamp rally connecting the surrounding facilities will be held, and Queen's Square Yokohama will feature limited-edition escalators decorated with all 90 characters. 

Additionally, Yokohama Landmark Plaza will open a Pompompurin pop-up store and present special stage performances!

On Sale From June 1! Limited-Edition Sweets Celebrating Pompompurin's 30th Anniversary

In conjunction with this festival, Fujiya's donut specialty shop Peko-chan milky Donut will launch special sweets celebrating the 30th anniversary of the popular character Pompompurin. 

This series is exclusively available at two locations: the MARK IS Minatomirai Store and the Yokohama WORLD PORTERS Store, making it a perfect treat to drop by and enjoy while visiting the event.

Filled with pudding-flavored cream and caramel cream inside a fluffy and chewy donut, this item offers a highly satisfying texture. It is priced at 286 yen (tax included) and is available in limited quantities while supplies last.

Pompompurin's Light Nap ♪ Friends Pudding Tart (Pre-orders open June 1)

This adorable classic pudding tart, designed in the shape of Pompompurin's face, is an exclusive item available only for online pre-order at Fujiya's pastry shop. 

The dessert also comes with a Pompompurin and Peko-chan acrylic keychain, making it an irresistible commemorative item for fans. Pre-orders start on June 1, and the price is 3,900 yen (tax included).

In addition, the SANRIO FES milky Parfait, inspired by Sanrio characters and released earlier on May 25, is also currently on sale in limited quantities. It would also be a wonderful idea to visit this event as a sweets tour!

The Entire Street is a Photo Spot! A Giant Pompompurin Balloon Standing 5 Meters Tall

During the event period, landmarks across Minatomirai will be surrounded by the worldview of Sanrio. The biggest highlight is definitely the giant, 5-meter-tall Pompompurin Balloon set up inside Yokohama Landmark Plaza. Its highly impactful and massive presence will undoubtedly become an excellent photo spot!

Moreover, anyone using Minatomirai Station can ride the trains wrapped in Sanrio character designs; starting from June 12, the station's automatic ticket gates will even play character voices. From the moment you arrive, you can instantly immerse yourself in the world of Sanrio.
