Step inside the imaginative worlds of Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, and The Nightmare Before Christmas at Tim Burton's Labyrinth in Tokyo, from November 25.
Tim Burton's Labyrinth Opens in Tokyo This November

After attracting more than one million visitors worldwide, the acclaimed immersive exhibition Tim Burton's Labyrinth is finally making its way to Japan.

Running from November 25, 2026, to February 21, 2027, the exhibition will be held at CREVIA BASE Tokyo in Toyosu.
Following successful runs in Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Mexico, this marks the exhibition's Japan and Asia debut, as well as Tim Burton's first exhibition in Japan in around a decade.
Visitors can wander through a maze-like experience inspired by the filmmaker's unmistakable gothic fantasy worlds, choosing their own route rather than following a set path.
Here are some of the exhibition's highlights.
Explore the Worlds of Tim Burton's Iconic Films

Throughout the exhibition, visitors can step into immersive environments inspired by some of Tim Burton's most beloved works.

Expect scenes and characters from classics including Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Sweeney Todd, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Rather than moving through traditional gallery rooms, guests navigate a labyrinth where every turn leads to new discoveries, creating a different experience with each visit.
See More Than 200 Original Tim Burton Sketches

One of the exhibition's biggest attractions is a collection of over 200 original sketches created by Tim Burton.
Many of these artworks have never been exhibited in Japan, offering fans a rare opportunity to see the ideas and illustrations that helped shape Burton's unmistakable creative vision.

The exhibition combines these original works with large-scale immersive installations that bring Burton's imaginative universe to life.
A Journey Through Burton's Imagination

Unlike a conventional exhibition, Tim Burton's Labyrinth encourages visitors to explore freely, making choices at every junction as they journey deeper into Burton's surreal worlds.

Designed to feel as though you're wandering through the filmmaker's own imagination, the exhibition blends artwork, cinematic settings, and interactive spaces into one unforgettable experience.

Whether you're a lifelong fan or discovering Burton's work for the first time, the exhibition promises an immersive adventure unlike any other.
