Tokyo Night Market at Yoyogi Park
The popular Tokyo Night Market will return to Yoyogi Park for five days from October 21 to 25, 2026.
Held along the park's Keyaki Namiki (Zelkova Tree Avenue), the nighttime event brings together food, live music, DJs, street performances, shopping, and entertainment in one of Tokyo's best-known outdoor spaces.
The market stays open until 22:00 each evening, and admission is free. Here are some of the highlights visitors can look forward to!
More Than 50 Food and Shopping Vendors
More than 50 vendors are expected to participate in the Tokyo Night Market.
Alongside festival favorites such as burgers and tacos, visitors can discover street food from across Asia, Brazilian cuisine, and other international dishes. Previous editions have also featured distinctive options such as sparkling sake and venison burgers.
Food isn't the only attraction. Past markets have included vendors selling clothing, accessories, and Asian goods, as well as interactive booths offering nail art and jagua tattoos.
Visitors have even been able to enjoy traditional Japanese festival games and entertainment booths combining drinks with karaoke.
Live Music, DJs, and Entertainment Until Night
The Tokyo Night Market also features a live stage with performances from bands, idols, and other artists.
Artists who have appeared at Tokyo Night Market events in 2026 include Charan-Po-Rantan, LA SEÑAS, Friends, →Pia-no-jaC←, Shingo Maekawa of Kariyushi 58, Seppuku Pistols, and You'll Melt More!
The fun doesn't necessarily end when the market closes at 22:00. Participating clubs and bars in Shibuya have previously hosted after-parties featuring DJs involved with the event, extending the festivities into the night.
Art and a Festival-Like Atmosphere
Tokyo Night Market combines elements of a food festival, music event, and traditional Japanese night market.
Past editions have featured an art monument by artist Hajime Kinoko alongside the market's colorful collection of stalls and entertainment.
With Yoyogi Park as its setting, the event offers visitors an opportunity to experience a different side of Tokyo after sunset, just a short distance from the bustling streets of Shibuya and Harajuku.
Sustainability Initiatives at the Market
The organizers are also incorporating sustainability measures into the event.
Eco stations will be installed throughout the venue to encourage proper waste sorting, while reusable cups will be used for drinks.
These initiatives aim to reduce waste while maintaining the lively atmosphere of the night market.
