1. Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo's Dark Arts Halloween 2026

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter will host its first-ever Dark Arts Halloween from September 10 to November 8, 2026.

Inspired by Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters, the venue transforms key sets like the Great Hall, the Forbidden Forest, and the Ministry of Magic into an ominous Wizarding World experience.

Highlights include floating jack-o'-lanterns in the Great Hall, projection-mapped Dementors over the Hogwarts Castle model, lantern-lit Night Tours, and a live Death Eater demonstration choreographed by film combat designer Paul Harris.

Visitors can also enjoy themed food like pastrami Halloween Burgers with purple buns and Dementor-inspired pancakes, as well as special Halloween Afternoon Tea and High Tea packages. Advance online tickets are required to enter.

2. USJ Halloween Horror Nights 2026 in Osaka

For another massive seasonal spectacle, head to Osaka for Universal Studios Japan’s Halloween Horror Nights 2026. Running from September 11 to November 8, this year’s lineup marks the 15th anniversary of the park’s iconic Halloween event alongside USJ’s 25th-anniversary celebrations.

The park will be overrun by the largest street zombie horde in USJ history, alongside the Zombie de Dance show set to King Gnu's track SO BAD and the Halloween Horror Nights Academy stage show.

New and returning attractions include the immersive Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive, Chainsaw Man: The Chaos 4-D, and pitch-black night overlays on JAWS and Jurassic Park.

Daytime visitors can also enjoy Pink and Light Blue Yoshi character greetings in Super Nintendo World and the return of the Hogwarts Castle Walk.

3. Huis Ten Bosch Halloween 2026 (Nagasaki)

For a different seasonal atmosphere, Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki is hosting its autumn event from September 18 to November 3. The Dutch-themed resort balances family-friendly entertainment with nighttime horror across its grounds.

Daytime highlights feature the Miffy and Friends Halloween Party Parade, where Miffy and her companions appear in seasonal costumes, alongside character greetings, trick-or-treat activities, and an autumn gourmet and wine festival.

After dark, the park shifts to a spookier tone around Palace Huis Ten Bosch for Haunted Halloween, featuring roaming monsters led by the Death King, and concludes with the revamped Shower of Lights projection and fireworks show.

4. Kaikai YOKAI Festival in Kyoto

For a distinctly Japanese take on the season, Toei Kyoto Studio Park is hosting its Kaikai YOKAI Festival 2026 from September 12 to November 29.

Set within its newly renovated Edo town area, the festival pairs authentic historical streetscapes with traditional monster folklore under the theme Let’s Dance!! Eerie and Creepy!

The main feature is the Hyakki Yagyo YOKAI Parade, offering daytime costume processions and photo ops alongside a theatrical nighttime stage performance where visitors can dance with the monsters.
