Make your own sweet shrimp bowl.

This is an experience of making a rice bowl using fresh sweet shrimp procured from "Mikuni Port Market", which boasts the largest catch of sweet shrimp in the prefecture. Arrange the sweet shrimp, which are characterized by their rich and sweet taste, on top of Fukui Prefecture Koshihikari rice to your liking, and your original rice bowl will be completed. Since no knives are used, even small children and those who are not good at cooking can enjoy this experience.

Experience wearing armor and becoming a warrior / Castle Hut Marco

They parade through Maruoka Castle town in armor.

You can dress up in armor and become a warrior while touring the photo spots of Maruoka Castle and the surrounding historical sites. You can wear it over your own clothes, but you can also change into a samue (work uniform) and become a real warrior (additional fee applies). After your stroll, relax and think about the history at the castle hut Marco, which has a collection of castle-related books and goods.
