Hands-on classes such as soba noodle making and konjac making are also popular.

Also known as "Shigisan Temple," many tiger statues can be seen within the temple grounds. The temple enshrines King Bishamonten and holds Great Prajna Prayer Ceremonies to pray for the safety of the family, prosperity in business, lasting good fortune, and the fulfillment of wishes. From the main hall, you can see the mountains and the townscape, and you can see the sunrise all year round.

The market is popular for its sale of local specialties such as small chrysanthemums and roses, as well as seasonal vegetables and fruits. There is also a specialty goods corner with handmade souvenirs and a restaurant where you can eat local cuisine made with local ingredients.
