A popular restaurant for grilled skewers tucked away in a back alley. Open the door of the chic old house with lanterns and a white Noren (a traditional Japanese door curtain), and you will find a relaxed atmosphere with a black-lacquered ceiling and an amber-colored counter. The appeal is that you can enjoy charcoal grilling in two styles: skewers cooked by a chef on the grill, or cooked by yourself to your liking on a tabletop shichirin grill.

The ingredients are all carefully selected, without any frozen products, including juicy and rich Kirishima chicken, Noto beef, Noto pork, local seafood and vegetables. This restaurant insists on carefully preparing its food every day from the morning, and is very particular about using local ingredients and seasonings such as natural salt from Wajima and Ono soy sauce from Kanazawa.

The specialty, “Kirishima Chicken Flame Grilled” is a real pleasure to sizzle the thigh and breast over charcoal, then pour chicken oil over the meat and smother it in the flames and smoke. The live flames and the powerful atmosphere enhance the deliciousness of the dish even more.

There are plenty of side dishes available, including sashimi, Kanazawa oden, and Kaga vegetable tempura. The "Kottori Paitan Ramen (Chicken White Broth Ramen)" is also recommended, and it can be tasted in the way like ochazuke (Japanese tea over rice). You can also enjoy a course meal if you make a reservation by the day before. To accompany your meal, you could also try ordering a glass of Ishikawa local sake carefully selected by the owner. In addition to the counter, there is a raised area and private rooms on the first floor, and a tatami room on the second floor, making it very convenient to use.
