Start your trip at one of the rental car offices near Miyakojima Airport. The airport is located in the center of Miyakojima, so it's convenient for driving in any direction.

Opened in 1992, this long and large bridge is large enough for boats to pass under. The beautiful emerald blue sea spreads out on both sides of the view. The color of the water differs between shallow and deep areas, so you can enjoy the mixed scenery of various hues known as "Ikema Blue."

You can eat delicious seafood dishes and Miyako soba. The restaurant is located near the Ikema Ohashi Bridge, which is close to the sea, so the views from around the restaurant and inside are spectacular. From the rooftop observation terrace, you can see the Ikema blue that fills the entire view of the Ikema Ohashi Bridge, so it's a must-see.

You can see the whole island from Ikema Ohashi Bridge to the townscape. It is said to have been installed in a place with a good view to monitor maritime traffic. It has a history dating back to the Edo period and is a designated national historic site.

This is a park where you can have a variety of experiences utilizing marine resources. The main underwater observation facility allows you to enjoy the view of the ocean at a depth of 3 to 5 meters. In addition to the observation deck, you can also enjoy making original crafts using materials from the ocean of Miyakojima.

If you go down to the white sandy beach you can see the emerald blue ocean, making it a popular photo spot.
You can also watch the sunset from this beach, so it's best to come around sunset.
