For the train you can choose between the Rinkai Line and the Yurikamome Line.

For the Rinkai Line, first we depart from Tokyo Station and head for either Osaki Station or the JR Keihin Tohoku Line's Oimachi Station. Here we transfer to the Rinkai Line and then disembark at Kokusai-Tenjijo Station. This takes about 40 minutes and the one-way fare is 513 yen.

For the Yurikamome Line, we leave from Tokyo Station and head for Shinbashi Station by taking either the JR Ueno-Tokyo Line or the JR Yamanote Line. Here we transfer to the Yurikamome Line and disembark at Tokyo Big Sight Station. Total travel time is about 35 to 40 minutes and the one-way fare is 534 yen.

These transfer points of Oimachi, Osaki, and Shinbashi are all thriving and bustling stations, so whether you use the Rinkai or Yurikamome Line you can enjoy a meal or do a little shopping on your way to Tokyo Big Sight.

The Yurikamome Line is slightly expensive, so we recommend the Rinkai Line for those watching their pocketbook.

The Yurikamome Line is a monorail that passes through the Odaiba area. During the ride you can enjoy the scenery including great views of Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge. This monorail is popular with sightseeing visitors, so if you've come all the way from outside Tokyo we recommend going for a ride.

When coming here by bus, you can use either the Toei Bus or an expressway bus.

The Toei Bus is handy because it takes you directly and quickly to the front of Tokyo Big Sight. The Toei Bus (No. 16 East) leaves from Tokyo Station's Yaesu South Exit bus stop and takes about 40 to 45 minutes. You can also take the Toei Bus (No.05-2) from the Marunouchi Exit and the one-way fare is 210 yen.

Please note that on the way to Tokyo Big Sight the Toei Bus passes through spots such as Toyosu, so it can get rather crowded. In particular, when an event is being held, the bus you want to take can be delayed or you might not be able to get a seat. So when using the Toei Bus please be sure to allow yourself plenty of time for traveling.

It's also possible to use the expressway bus. At Tokyo Station's Yaesu South Exit Bus Terminal you can take a bus headed for Tokyo Port Ferry Terminal, and then disembark at Tokyo Big Sight bus stop.

Please keep in mind that the expressway bus has limited service. One-way fare is 350 yen and travel time is about 30 minutes. However, on the expressway bus you can check in your luggage, so for those with suitcases this is probably a better option than the Toei Bus or train.

So far we've introduced access by public transport, but Tokyo Big Sight also has parking facilities.

The Conference Tower underground parking, East Exhibition Hall underground parking, and South Exhibition Hall underground parking have a total of 600 parking spaces. One full day of parking for a regular vehicle costs up to 2,000 yen. There's also a temporary parking lot located slightly farther away.

However, during events you can expect the parking to be crowded. So generally speaking we recommend using public transportation. Also, during some events, the parking facilities are sometimes restricted so be sure to check details beforehand.

But if it's necessary for you to come by car, it's a good idea to use a parking facility that's a slight distance from Tokyo Big Sight.
