By taking the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo, you can easily travel from Tokyo to Fukui without having to change trains.

From Fukui Station, take the "Hapi Line Fukui" to Takefu Station. The access from Takefu Station to Echizen Town is as follows.

[Oda area] Take the Fukui Railway Bus "Takefu Echizen Kaigan Line" and get off at Myojin-mae. About 40 minutes

Take the Thunderbird or Shirasagi Limited Express to Tsuruga Station.

How to get from Komatsu Airport to Echizen Town by plane

ANA and JAL operate flights from Haneda Airport to Komatsu Airport, the closest airport to Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture. EVA Air also operates daily flights from Taipei. Please note that there are no flights to Fukui Airport.

Access from Haneda Airport

Domestic flights from Haneda Airport to Komatsu Airport are available with "ANA" and "JAL." Ticket prices vary depending on when you book, but they are around 15,000 to 30,000 yen.

There is a shuttle bus from Komatsu Airport to Fukui Station. It takes about 60 minutes from Komatsu Airport to Fukui Station.
