Uzumasa Festival Tamashii Venue and How to Get There

The venue for "Uzumasa Festival Spirit" is Toei Kyoto Studio Park and its surrounding area in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City. There are several nearby stations and multiple ways to get there.

    Approximately 5 minutes on foot from JR Sagano Line " Uzumasa Station "
    Approximately 5 minutes on foot from Keifuku Electric Railway's Katabiranotsuji Station
    Take the Tozai Subway Line to Uzumasa Tenjingawa Station , then transfer to the Randen line and get off at Katabiranotsuji Station . It's about a 5-minute walk from there.

Uzumasa Parade

The highlight of the evening is the Uzumasa Parade, where performers wearing Hyottoko masks and traditional costumes parade through the streets of Edo to the sound of drums and conch shells.

Viewing was free, and the first 40 people to arrive were able to wear the original happi coats and join the parade. They walked together, enjoyed the performances along the way, and then all danced together for the finale. It was a special experience, like stepping into a scene from a movie.
