Nara Morning Tour: Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Whispering Path, and Ukimi-do Hall

Meet your guide at your hotel in Nara City or at JR/Kintetsu Nara Station, then take a taxi to Kasuga Kasuga. In addition to the World Heritage shrine buildings, we will also visit the subsidiary shrines, including the shrine dedicated to matchmaking, where the guide will explain the beliefs and highlights of the site. Afterwards, walk along the "Whispering Path" nestled in the ancient shrine forest, experiencing the atmosphere of prayer and nature in the morning tranquility. The tour concludes with a visit to Ukimido Pavilion, which appears to float on the pond, and Nara machi Tenjin Shrine. This half-day is packed with the charm of Nara, even in a short amount of time.

8:30 AM Meet at a hotel in Nara City or at JR/Kintetsu Nara Station (travel by taxi).

09:00 Visit to Kasuga Kasuga and its subsidiary shrines.

10:00 A stroll along the Whispering Path

10:30 Ukimido Pavilion and Nara machi Tenjin Shrine (by taxi)

11:30 Drop-off at hotel or JR Kyoto Station / Tour ends. *If you wish to be dropped off at a different location in Nara City, please consult with your guide.

Since it's the morning when there are fewer people, we'll guide you so you can slowly savor the atmosphere of Kasuga. The subsidiary shrines and smaller shrines have many interesting points to learn about, so we'll explain their history and blessings in an easy-to-understand way. At the shrine for matchmaking, we'll briefly explain the proper way to pray and how to make a wish. We'll select the best section of the "Whispering Path" for a pleasant walk. Ukimido is a great place for both photography and resting, so we'll guide you to the best spot to view the beautiful water surface. Finally, we'll head to Nara Tenjin Shrine, and if you wish, we can flexibly adjust nearby places to visit and the meeting point.
