FAMIMA: A New Brand FamilyMart Co., Ltd.

To celebrate its 45th anniversary in 2026, FamilyMart Co., Ltd. has launched the "Next FamilyMart Project," an initiative designed to explore the infinite possibilities of next-generation convenience stores.
Through its new brand, FAMIMA, the company aims to break away from traditional retail frameworks and create an entirely unprecedented customer experience.
FamilyMart's very first flagship store, FAMIMA PARK AZABUDAI, officially opened on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Store and Space Design of FAMIMA PARK AZABUDAI

At FAMIMA PARK AZABUDAI, official FAMIMA character figures are cleverly positioned at the building's corners and on its rooftop.
They add a charming, playful touch for pedestrians on the street below as well as for those looking down from neighboring high-rises.

In harmony with Azabudai's unique geographical environment and lush, green ecology, a special Rooftop Forest green space has been created.

Outside the store, the FAMIMA STAND coffee takeout bar allows customers to easily grab a drink without having to enter the building. The exterior also features an open-air rest park equipped with benches showcasing the brand's official characters.
A Brand-New Challenge in Visual Merchandising
The overall architecture and store space design of FAMIMA PARK AZABUDAI was personally spearheaded and designed by Wonderwall®, the top-tier interior design team led by Japan's legendary master of space, Masamichi Katayama.

The highly popular "Convenience Wear" apparel line features its own dedicated space and an impressive selection of items, creating the sophisticated feel of a boutique shop-in-shop.

The checkout counter boldly adopts a traditional kiosk-style design, with a dazzling array of products filling the entire wall behind it.
This allows customers to enjoy an exciting shopping experience full of discovery and choice right up until the final moment of checkout.

Extending from the entrance to the center and both sides, the product display shelves showcase FAMIMA's most iconic signature items, creating a thrilling store atmosphere akin to visiting a boutique pop-up store.
Immerse Yourself in the Brand's Worldview: The "Convenience Wear" Zone

Co-developed with renowned Japanese fashion designer Hiromichi Ochiai, FamilyMart's original apparel brand, "Convenience Wear," is grounded in the philosophy of "good fabrics, good technology, and good design."
The brand continues to thrive with the goal of making "buying clothes at a convenience store" a seamless part of daily life.
To elevate this experience, FAMIMA PARK AZABUDAI introduces a digital interactive touchscreen that suggests full outfits, alongside a dedicated fitting room and on-site professional staff for personalized guidance.
This allows customers to find the perfect look, verify sizes, and enjoy a comfortable fit that showcases their personal style.

In the future, selected exclusive items from the flagship store will also be available in limited quantities on FamilyMart's official online store, "Famima Online."

Breaking boldly with tradition, this brand-new tea series uses an espresso machine to freshly extract each cup to order.
Customers can choose between two classic varieties—Earl Grey and Jasmine—and customize their drink with chewy tapioca pearls for an enhanced, rich texture.
