An Array of Glasses From Famous Anime
All anime eyeglasses sold by Animegane are on display in the shop. Not only are the glasses themselves on display, but so are accessory items such as lens cleaning cloths and eyeglasses cases.
There are several mirrors set up inside so that you can check whether or not it’s a design suitable for you while trying them on. There are also times when some people realize, “It’s from an anime I like, but it didn’t suit me once I actually tried it on” due to the unique designs often found in anime.

If you want to place corrective lenses into your eyeglasses, you not only need to purchase the glasses, but you will also need to take an eye exam.
You also have the option of purchasing your frames in-store and having your corrective lenses made at a glasses shop in your country. However, both eye exams and lens creation can be conducted at Animegane.
We’ll be introducing the steps you’ll take starting from having corrective lens made to receiving them, so please use this as a reference when visiting the shop.
1. Choose the Product You Wish to Purchase
First, you’ll decide on the product you’d like to purchase while taking a look at the eyeglasses on display. If you have any questions about the product such as prices and its product lineup, please direct them to an employee.
2. Check Your Eyesight
In the event you wish to use corrective lenses, it is necessary to prepare lenses that match your eyesight. You can take the same exam as you would in a regular glasses shop at Animegane, which means you can even walk out of the shop with the perfect glasses for you too.
Up to two people can take an eye exam at the same time with each person completing their exam in about fifteen minutes.
3. Fill Out Your Customer Information
Once your eye exam is finished, you will follow the employee’s instructions and fill out a customer information form. English is also included alongside the Japanese on the form, so those from English-speaking countries will be able to fill out the form without any issues.
4. Receive Your Eyeglasses
The shop will adjust the lenses, then give you your eyeglasses upon changing the lenses. If the lens is in stock, then you can receive your finished eyeglasses in about one hour.
However, in the event that the lens in your power are not available in-store, it may take up to two hours to receive your finished eyeglasses due to the shop having to order lenses. Please be aware of this when purchasing as overseas shipping is not available.
