Lush Harajuku - 13 New Bath Bombs Limited To Tokyo's Special Store

LUSH Handmade Cosmetics opened its exclusive bath bomb store in Harajuku with fifty-seven bath bombs exclusive to the store in November 2018. We wrote about it in our article LUSH Harajuku - Exclusive Bath Bomb Store Only In Japan. Until late summer 2019, most of its fifty-seven exclusive bath bombs will available all over the world and online.  After that limited period of time, they are rumored to be once again exclusive to LUSH Harajuku.

In the meantime, Lush Harajuku grows its collection bigger as well! Thirteen new bath bombs line LUSH Harajuku's shelf since March 2019. Godzilla, Temples and bath bombs showcasing real plants are all part of the new quirky line-up.  

The Thirteen New Bath Bombs - An Overview

Kokedama

Kokedama is a traditional art of potless planting in Japan consisting of a ball made of soil covered moss and bound with a string holding a variety of different plants. This bath bomb has a real small plant in the center and relaxes with an earthy scent of ylang-ylang and jasmine. It contains leaf extract and kaolin clay to clean and revive your skin.

Roar!

Roar! is a cute little Godzilla inspired bath bomb with the soft smell of peppermint and green tea extract. It will turn the bathwater a neon green color.

Temple in the Sky

Temple in the Sky would make for a great souvenir as it depicts a golden Japanese temple on the front. It has a strong citrus smell made up of Sicilian lemon and orange oil and turns the water dark blue with golden luster.

Monster Café

Inspired by Harajuku's own Monster Café this bath bomb is extremely colorful just as its name giver and smells like a fruity jelly. The scent is reminiscent of one of LUSH's jelly soaps from the past called Iced Wine.

Black Ninja

Lush already has a golden ninja bath bomb called Ginger Ninja. Black Ninja smells of patchouli and charcoal and turns the bathwater a greyish black so you can completely disappear in it like a ninja. It has the same little stars resembling shuriken as its older brother.

Shimokobai

Shimokobai is a traditional spring confection in Japan resembling a plum blossom. This is bath bomb and bath oil in one. It is also covered in sea salt to purify the skin. The scent is a strong osmanthus scent resembling the smell of plums or peaches.

Tengri

Tengri is considered to be the chief deity who created all things in an anchient religion called Tengrism. Don't be fooled its soft lemon myrtle scent and light blue colors. The inside is bursting with a variety of colors and herbal eucalyptus bursting from its center to sooth every muscle in your body. A perfect bath if you are aching from a cold.

Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball is a floral bath bomb filled with shimmer to make the water glisten like dragon scales. Its scent is reminiscent of the Guardian of the Forest bath bomb available at normal LUSH stores and only. Can you spy the camouflaged dragon?

Supermoon

Supermoon is inspired by the famous Asian story of the bunny in the moon this bath bomb smells of vanilla and sandalwood. It creates milky white bathwater to soften your skin.

Helter Skelter

The Helter Skelter bath bomb is named after the famous Beatles song. It is supposed to cheer you up when your life is a rollercoaster. It features tonka, which smells similar to vanilla, and a mixture of refreshing fruits. A sweet and sugary delight for your bathtub.

Runner Bath

Runner Bath features Cinnamon, Peppermint and mustard oil to warm and revive tired muscles. Vivid bath art brightens your mood. A perfect bath after running a marathon!

Do you wonder what the 29 1/2 on the bath bomb means? LUSH's first ever store, which they opened in 1995 in Poole (UK), has the house number is 29 1/2. You will sometimes find LUSH products with this significant number.

Flight

Flight is a fruity floral bath bomb made with the scent of bergamot and geranium. The colorful bath art reminds of a tropical bird or some crazy kind of dragon. It also contains coarse sea salt to clean the skin.

Polka Dot

Polka Dot bath bomb is supposed to be a piece of avant-garde art. Burts of yellow, pink and blue color the bathwater. The scent is an unusual mix of spicy rosewood, sweet violet, jasmine, and refreshing lime.
