In this article, we offer a limited number of MATCHA readers a complimentary stay at BnA Alter Museum, an art-themed boutique hotel in the ancient capital. For details on how to apply, please read until the end of the article.

BnA Alter Museum: A Kyoto Hotel Showcasing Contemporary Art!

BnA Alter Museum is located just five minutes on foot from Shijo Kawaramachi, one of Kyoto's main shopping districts. Moreover, this boutique hotel features a unique theme showcasing Japanese contemporary art.

The lodging's total of 31 guest rooms were designed by 16 different artists. Each room has its original concept that will pique the interests of visitors.

A visit to the BnA Alter Museum will feel like staying overnight at an art gallery!

The hotel also offers a wide range of art-related experiences. Based on the concept of water and light, the rooms allow guests to soak up contemporary art 24 hours a day. In addition, the accommodation features interactive sound and light installations.

This is the only place in the city center of Kyoto where hotel-goers can have such an art-filled experience. Additionally, the common space houses a chic bar and cafe alongside an adjoining art gallery.
