A Gundam Theme Park and Life-Sized Statue in Fukuoka!

The life-sized RX-93ffv Gundam currently under construction

It was announced that Gundam Park Fukuoka (Japanese), an entertainment center, will open alongside Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Fukuoka (Japanese) in April 2022.

The construction of a life-sized RX-93ffv (Nu) Gundam statue in LaLaport Fukuoka has been a hot topic since its announcement last year. This additional news will make Gundam fans even more excited.

There will be three areas for visitors to enjoy at Gundam Park.

GUNDAM SIDE-F: The Shopping Area

GUNDAM SIDE-F is a shopping area that will feature various information on Gundam, including the series RX-93ffv. Of course, they’ll also carry Gundam products.

The interior is inspired by Gundam space colonies with dynamic animation and exclusive videos played on giant monitors. The shop is expected to sell exclusive Gundam plastic model kits and hold Gundam-related exhibitions.

VS PARK WITH G: The Sports Entertainment Area

This area is a collaboration with VS PARK (Japanese)—an innovative sports facility—and Gundam. The area will feature over 20 Gundam-themed versions of the facility’s sports activities including “Nigekiru,” a sprinting game where players must run away from beasts that appear on the screen.

Namco: The Amusement Area

In this area, visitors can enjoy a variety of games by Bandai Namco (Japanese), including a Gundam Park version of “Taiko: Drum Master.” There will be exclusive Gundam Park goodies including giveaway prizes, capsule toys, and more! Additionally, a section will be dedicated to Gundam arcade games.
