Yomiuriland in Spring: Cherry Blossoms and Stunning Lights

Yomiuriland Park and its many cherry trees will be illuminated in stunning jewel tones this spring for its highly anticipated Yozakura Jewellumination event held from March 18 until April 9, 2023.

The park’s Sakura Promenade will feature cherry trees illuminated by an unearthly pink glow, enchanting visitors who walk down the magical corridor of pink blossoms.

Yozakura Jewellumination: Dreamlike Light-ups and Shows!

During the event, illuminated cherry blossom trees will frame the park’s stunning Ferris wheel, and a spectacular, illuminated fountain show will be held.

Ride a Rollercoaster through Magical Cherry Blossom Tunnels!

The park’s most popular rollercoaster Bandit and ropeway Gondola Sky Shuttle will not just be exhilarating attractions this spring, but will be transformed by the cherry trees growing around them into cherry blossom viewing experiences!

A Stunning Flower Park, Open Air Bath, and More!

Yomiuriland’s newest attraction, the adjacent HANA BIYORI flower park will be holding the Yozakura Biyori event during the same period as the Yozakura Jewellumination. HANA BIYORI’s approximately 250 cherry blossom trees will be in full bloom this spring, and will be lit up until 8pm every evening.

The flower park’s HANA AKARI event will also be continuing, during which delicate Japanese bamboo lanterns are illuminated.

Yomiuriland’s adjacent Oka No Yu bathing facility will also offer guests the opportunity to enjoy a unique type of cherry blossom viewing, as the open air bath is surrounded by cherry trees! Marvel at the enchanting pink blossoms whilst relaxing in a warm bath for a truly unforgettable experience.
