Hilton Tokyo in Shinjuku is well-known as a luxury hotel, but it also offers a high-quality dessert buffet and is extremely popular among the Japanese younger generation.

Today we'll be introducing Marble Lounge, the sweets-lover's paradise found inside Hilton Tokyo.

A Luxurious Atmosphere

The Marble Lounge is found on the right side of the hotel's main entrance. It's not an exaggeration to say that it's the face of the facility. The spacious lounge is decorated with fancy furniture, and is open for use 24 hours a day, satisfying customers from breakfast to late-night meals.

The dessert buffet is available from 14:30 - 17:30. Being immensely popular, reservations are a must. Bookings can be made online on Hilton Tokyo's official website.

The Dazzling World of Sweets

The first thing you'll see upon entering is Cold Stone Ice Cream.

You can choose from six different ice cream flavors and seven toppings, and the staff will mix them together on a chilled -25 degrees Celsius marble table to create your very own original ice cream.

The most popular dish of the dessert buffet has to be the giant chocolate fountain. Around the fountain you will find bite-size marshmallows and fruits that guests can stick on a skewer to put under the chocolate.

The warm chocolate and fresh fruit combo is amazing and will have you coming back for more. The chocolate used for the fountain is usually milk chocolate, but they sometimes use dark chocolate or pretty pink-colored chocolate for special events.

You will also find petit four like jelly desserts, madeleine-on-a-sticks, and bite-size muffins.

As well as beautiful cakes and tarts. Other than desserts, they have light snacks like sandwiches, soups, and pasta. They say there are 30-40 dishes at all times. It seems many visitors have something non-sweet after a while and then go back to their desserts, and then repeat.

The dishes provided are carefully thought through to have various textures and tastes so that visitors can enjoy as much of the food as possible.

You might enjoy crunchy sprinkles inside of a chocolate muffin, a fluffy-soft sponge cake, a crisp tart, flaky coconuts with Bavarian cream, and other great sweets!

The detailed recipes, including the rich chocolate cake, edible flowers, or rose-scented cream all are masterpieces of the French chef. The buffet itself is also carefully designed with a special atmosphere. The interior will change depending on the season and event, satisfying not only the taste buds but also the eyes of customers.

Why not visit the luxurious buffet that many in Tokyo yearn to visit at least once?
