The general director will be Ohito Junma, who has directed numerous shows including the closing ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and the opening performance of the opening round of the FIVB Paris Olympic Qualifiers/World Cup Volleyball 2023. This time, we teamed up with "Drone Show Japan," which has a track record of hosting numerous drone shows.

The drone show has been around for about a year since its conception, and there are many restrictions on flying, but with the support of Yokohama City, the event was made possible.

Junma commented, ``Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise has a strong aquarium content, but by implementing a new content called a drone show, I hope to see a synergistic effect between Hakkeijima and the drone show.''

The drone performance looks like stars dancing.

The origin of the event title, "STARDANCE", is that the 1,000 drones dancing in the night sky look like twinkling stars, so the word "STAR" was adopted, and a fantastic and mysterious performance will be held. The word "DANCE" was chosen because the movement of the drones looks like the dancing stars in the night sky.

Furthermore, from the distant past to the present, humans have made their thoughts and wishes to the stars floating in the night sky, so STARDANCE also contains the desire to be a star of hope for people.
