What is Sansotsuchi Icicle?

Misotsuchi's icicles include natural icicles and artificial icicles.

Natural icicles (icicles)

This is the original Sansotsuchi icicle.
Chichibu's three major icicles began here.
Of the three major icicles, this is the only place where you can see large natural icicles.
Natural icicles that freeze Iwashimizu due to the cold. Natural formations that have not been touched by humans have a mysterious appearance.

By car

Approximately 2 hours from Kanetsu Expressway Hanazono IC via National Route 140 towards Chichibu via Yorii Minano Bypass Approximately 2 hours from Chuo Expressway Katsunuma IC via National Route 140 via Yamanashi City and ``Ganzaka Tunnel''

By train or by bus

From Seibu Railway's Seibu Chichibu Station, take the Seibu Kanko Bus Mitsumine Shrine Line and get off at Misotsuchi Bus Stop.

From Chichibu Railway Mitsumineguchi Station, take the Chichibu Municipal Bus Kawamata Line or Seibu Kanko Bus Mitsumine Shrine Line and get off at Misotsuchi Bus Stop.
