Special exhibition “Tono Hina Dolls” (Tono City Museum)

The Tono City Museum introduces the nature, lifestyle, culture, and history of the people of Tono through a variety of videos and exhibits centered around the "Tono Monogatari."       23rd Tono Dobekko Festival (Tono Furusato Village)

      Enjoy special doburoku and Tono country cuisine at Magariya in Tono Furusato Village.

      ``Dobekko'' refers to the nostalgic cloudy sake ``Doburoku'' that was specially prepared for the festival by a sake brewer in Tono.       49th Citizen's Stage Tono Monogatari Fantasy "Ukotori no Fuchi" (Tono Civic Center Large Hall)

      A civic drama based on stories related to Tono Monogatari.

      Every year, the theme is a story related to the Tales of Tono, and the cast, script, and direction are all performed by Tono citizens.

      The 49th performance is based on the 35th episode of Tono Monogatari Shūi.

      Synopsis: ``Mitsu and Riichi vowed to have a future together, but their families are not on good terms, and in order to be able to get married, they go to Ushitori Shrine, the god of matchmaking.One day, Mitsu is kidnapped by thieves.
