What is the Handmade in Japan Festival?
The Handmade in Japan Festival (HMJ) is Japan's largest creators' festival , where creators from all over the country come together to exhibit and sell their original works.
This event supports creators who are passionate about making things by promoting the combination of Japanese creativity and handmade precision as a creative culture originating in Japan, "HandMade In Japan," both domestically and internationally.

This time, to mark the start of 2025, we will be introducing a variety of planned content with the theme of "Japanese spirit."
In addition to a special exhibition featuring over 100 original works by participating creators that express the unique beauty of Japan, there will also be demonstrations and sales by traditional craftsmen from all over Japan, including Kyoto and Ishikawa, and a hands-on craft experience, as well as a tasting of Japanese teas made with carefully selected ingredients. We welcome you with hospitality that is unique to Japan.
Japan is home to many creators with world-class talent and skills. Please enjoy "HandMade In Japan," which is the culmination of their originality, uniqueness, and attention to detail.
