An edible art experience that depicts a fantastical story of how a world is born

TREE by NAKED yoyogi park's art dinner course, which was renovated in spring 2024, consists of eight dishes from amuse-bouche to dessert, along with paired drinks, and expresses the way the world is born from the four elements that make up the world: earth, fire, water, and wind, through food and art. In a restaurant that resembles a single tree from the basement to the second floor, you can enjoy your meal while moving from floor to floor following a story.

We would like to introduce this premium experience, which is limited to eight seats per day and requires reservations.

A fantastical story woven with digital art and food

Welcome drink (1F)

The starting point is the bar counter on the first floor.

Guests are greeted with a projection mapping performance and a welcome drink, and then led by a guide into the underground world of "Tree Roots."

Prologue (1st basement floor waiting room)

The spirit of the tree, who tells us the beginning of this world, speaks to us through projection mapping. The world we will experience afterwards is projected onto the "karesansui" table. We take a sip of cleansing water.

Amuse (1st basement floor main room)

Dish name: Earth: Marinated shiitake mushrooms and truffles/ Fire: Arancini with plums/ Water: Smoked salmon mi-cuit/ Wind: Roasted cauliflower with alissa oil

An amuse-bouche inspired by the four elements: earth, fire, water, and wind.

Earth (1st basement floor main room)

Dish name: Tomato farce with hairy crab consommé, bagna cauda sauce and mixed herb salad

A plate of soil and a small ear of rice is brought to you. After tearing off the ear of rice and tilling it into the soil, you put on VR goggles and enter the VR world. You can enjoy changing the taste by mixing the jelly hidden in the salad.

Fire (1st basement floor main room)

Dish name: BBQ pulled pork tostada with paprika sauce

The entire wall is engulfed in fire using projection mapping, the sun is born, and the sun is also projected onto a plate using projection mapping.

Water (1st basement floor main room)

Dish name: Grilled golden-eyed snapper with scales

The entire wall is transformed into an ocean world with projection mapping. Fluid art resembling the deep sea world is drawn on a plate with projection mapping.

Wind (1st basement floor main room)

Dish name: Smoked Oyama chicken breast ballotine

When you remove the lid from the smoked plate, a projection mapping will depict a phoenix being born and taking flight.

Universe (1st basement floor main room)

Dish name: Roasted Wagyu beef

The four elements come together to create a new world. The four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter are depicted on the walls and plates using projection mapping. The salt and toppings that go with the dishes are also seasonal. You can also try rubbing real wasabi, a very Japanese experience.

Tie Up (1st basement floor main room)

Dish name: Grilled rice balls and soup stock

Ears of rice appear on the wall using projection mapping. The final dish is brought out, and you can add dashi and the wasabi to taste while enjoying the ochazuke.

Dessert(2F)

Dish name: Matcha tiramisu with seasonal fruits

The second floor of the store is modeled after a tree and is the fruit floor. As you move to the second floor, the world is completed and desserts are served, as if you were picking and eating the fruit.
