You will be carefully taught how to knead the dough and shape it, so even children and people who don't usually cook can easily enjoy making pizza. Enjoy delicious pizza while experiencing the warm hospitality of the staff in the lush Midori district of Futami Town.
First, put the ingredients for one piece of dough into a plastic bag and knead for 15 minutes. Knead until the butter is evenly mixed in, but since you do it through a plastic bag, your hands won't get dirty and it's a fun task even for children.
While you wait 15 minutes while the dough is placed in the fermentation machine, during the mandarin orange season (from October onwards) you can experience making fresh juice by squeezing mandarin oranges provided by local farmers using an antique juicer.
Next, the fermented dough is rolled out thinly, topped with the prepared ingredients, and the staff will bake it in the stone oven. The temperature of the stone oven is about 500 degrees, and the pizza is ready in about 3 minutes, hot, crispy, juicy and delicious.
The pizza sauce is also handmade using local products.
You can choose from five types of pizza (order when making a reservation): Mix (homemade tomato sauce), Mochi and dried baby sardines (Aurora sauce), Yamaimo and meat (pizza sauce), Seafood (homemade miso mayonnaise sauce), and Leek and bacon (homemade miso mayonnaise sauce).
The tomato sauce is homemade by the staff using locally grown tomatoes. This slightly sweet sauce is extremely popular as it is packed with the delicious flavor of tomatoes. The miso mayonnaise sauce, made with homemade miso from a local group, goes surprisingly well with cheese.
The delicious pizza is only possible thanks to the enthusiastic staff
There are five stone ovens and can accommodate groups of up to 40 people. The facility is well-maintained so that it is not affected by the weather, so you can enjoy your pizza baking experience without worry. There are also baby carriers in the restrooms for changing diapers. This is a facility where the staff's consideration is appreciated.
In order to get the temperature of the stone oven to the right temperature to bake pizza, the staff start cooking the oven two hours beforehand. In the summer, you can't stop sweating in front of the oven. This is an essential task to ensure that customers can enjoy delicious pizza, so we are grateful to the staff for their hard work.

Iyo City is located almost in the centre of Ehime Prefecture. It's about a 25-minute drive from Matsuyama City, where Dogo Onsen is located, and is served by two train lines, making it easily accessible, while still retaining the good old Japanese scenery. You can get a glimpse of history and culture along the roads, with the Nakayama district blessed with the bounty of rural woodlands, the Iyo district, with its townscape that retains the atmosphere of a merchant-run town and brimming with warm human kindness, and the Futami district, embraced by lush greenery and the blessings of the tranquil Seto Inland Sea. This land, coloured by these three unique personalities, is full of things and experiences loved by locals. If you've ever thought, "I want to go to this place," "I want to eat that," or "I want to do that," you'll find it all in Iyoshi!
