[Making dinosaur objects] @Takao Kiln

A pottery experience specialized in dinosaurs where you can make your own unique dinosaur. Parents and children can participate together, so it's safe for children! Knead the clay and mold it into the shape of your favorite dinosaur in about an hour. There are no difficult steps, so even beginners can easily participate.

Takao Kiln is a shop located on Course A of the Yakimono Sanpomichi. The owner is a ceramic artist who creates ceramic pieces with motifs of prehistoric creatures. Inside the shop, there are many pieces created by the owner, who is a dinosaur lover, and everywhere you look there are dinosaurs! The works are full of texture and dynamism that you would never guess were made from clay. If you love dinosaurs, check it out!

You might even be able to see the owner's treasure fossils!

[Indigo dyeing experience] @Namiho of Konya

This plan allows you to make your favorite wooden mold and dye it with genuine indigo dye. You can experience the traditional technique of "natural indigo lye fermentation". You can take your work home on the day, and you can choose from furoshiki, tenugui, and drawstring bags as the item to be dyed.

① Make your favorite wooden mold. ② Select the item to dye. ③ Set the mold you made in place and dye. ④ Leave to dry.

At the indigo dye shop Namiho, everything from the fields to dye making and dyeing is done on the Chita Peninsula. The dye is homemade, and they use "sukumo", a dye made by fermenting indigo leaves. They also use Tokoname ware jars, and all the materials are natural, including Chita cotton, Chita sake, and ash from the Chita Peninsula. They don't use anything scientific, and it's a valuable experience where you can be impressed by how natural materials can be dyed in such beautiful colors.

[Making metalwork accessories] @LET IT MADE

Recommended for making rings with friends and family, as well as for making matching rings for couples or as gifts. Heat the silver with a burner and hammer it with a texture hammer to create your desired pattern. You can choose from 84 different combinations of shapes and sizes (the basic ring width is 2mm. If you choose a different ring width, there is an additional charge). In addition, you can have the inside of the ring engraved (at no additional charge). Engraving initials or other personal details will definitely make it a special ring!

LET IT MADE is located in a corner of the Yakimono Sanpomichi, and is a "hands-on crafts café" where you can make your own original rings and Chita cotton handkerchiefs. If there are seats available, you can experience the hands-on menu without making a reservation. Another appealing point is that you can experience the experience while enjoying a drink or dessert. You can bring your dog inside the store! We also recommend making a name tag for your dog.

Choose your favorite kimono and accessories and stroll elegantly through the town of Tokoname. You can even choose a collared yukata, which is currently in the spotlight. The recommended walking course is the Yakimono Walking Path. There is plenty of rental time, so you can stroll at your own pace. Participants will receive a pair of lace tabi socks as a gift!

Heigoro is a kimono shop with the concept of "bringing kimonos closer to you and enjoying them." Experience brewing tea in a Tokoname-yaki teapot. Sweets are also included, and you can learn at your leisure about Tokoname-yaki teapots, how to care for them, and how to choose a teapot that matches your tea leaves. Your teacher will be a teapot coordinator from a long-established store that has been dealing in Tokoname-yaki teapots for many years. You can choose your favorite teapot from the shelves, which may help you choose the teapot that suits you!

Celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2019, the company has been playing a part in BtoB (corporate) distribution ever since.
