[2024 Latest] Countdown in Okinawa 2024-2025: Experience Okinawa Traditions at Oriental Hotel with Quizzes & Fireworks
Spend New Year's Eve and New Year's Day enjoying a host of events while staying at a hotel. From December 30th to January 2nd, a variety of events will be held exclusively for guests staying at the hotel!
The Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa has been reborn in a location well-suited as a base for a journey to experience Yambaru. We welcome you to a comfortable hotel that offers a unique stay experience through a wide range of accommodation plans and a variety of activities that guests can select based on their individual preferences.
Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa is a great place for both adults and children to enjoy themselves during the year end and new year holidays. To liven up the New Year's countdown, we will be holding a hotel original live quiz show entitled Year-End Guest Appreciation Festival 2024. You will be able to answer the quiz questions on your smartphone from the comfort of your own room. We will be asking questions about Okinawa that you may think you know the answer to (or maybe not), and you can answer while you are eating, watching, and listening. This year we have the cooperation of Yoshimoto Entertainment Okinawa in providing comedians to make the show fun! After the quiz, there will be a traditional Eisa performance next to the Garden Pool followed by fireworks. It will be a unique countdown experience for our guests. Other events during the holidays include a New Year's Day Lion Dance which parades through the lobby area, pounding rice to make mochi, sanshin live performances, and Ryukyu Traditional Dance performed by the group Mutsu no Hana--a perfect way to begin a new year in Okinawa. And the heated Garden Pool will be open so everyone can enjoy their first swim of the New Year!
