The Jumbo Ferry’s Kobe terminal is locatedat the Kobe Sannomiya Ferry Terminal, right in the heart of Kobe City’sChuo Ward, in the Shinkocho area.

From this terminal, two ferry linesoperate: the Jumbo Ferry, connecting Kobe with Shodoshima and Takamatsu,and the Miyazaki Car Ferry, connecting Kobe with Miyazaki.Jumbo Ferry operates 3–4 sailings per day to Shodoshima’s Sakate Port andTakamatsu Higashi Port, using two vessels: "Aoi" and "Ritsurin 2".

The new vessel "Aoi", launched in 2022, isdesigned with the concept of a “terrace resort floating on the Seto InlandSea,” allowing passengers to enjoy beautiful seascapes while travelingcomfortably. Onboard, you’ll find a footbath, an observation bath, and a shopwhere you can enjoy gourmet food made with local ingredients.

The Kobe Ferry Bus operates convenient shuttle buses connecting the stations with the ferry terminal.

The shuttle bus stop is located at Bus Stop No.6 in the Sannomiya Bus Terminal on the first floor of the Mint Kobebuilding (for the 00:30 departure, Bus Stop No. 9 is used instead).The fare is 230 yen (cash only), and the ride takes about 10 minutes to reachthe terminal.

[About 5 minutes to the bus stop] From Hankyu Kobe-Sannomiya Station

To get from Hankyu Kobe-Sannomiya Station to the bus stop, first head toward the East Gate of Hanshin Sannomiya Station.

After exiting the ticket gate, walk straightahead and go down the escalator.    

After going down the escalator, proceedtoward the escalator on the front left.

Take the escalator down to the basementlevel.    

After descending, turn right.    

Continue straight ahead until you reach theescalator at the end.    

Go up the escalator to street level.

After reaching the top, walk straight aheadand enter JR Sannomiya Central Gate.    

Walk straight ahead through the JR SannomiyaCentral Gate.    

At the end, follow the signs and turn left.    

Continue along the passageway.

When you see a convenience store, turn right.    

Follow the ground signs and go straight ahead tothe left.

Continue along the path and go up the stairs on the front right.

To get from JR Sannomiya Station to the bus stop,first head toward the East Exit of JR Sannomiya Station.    

After arriving at the JR platform, go toward theEast Ticket Gate, exit through it, and then turn right.

Exit the Port Liner Sannomiya ticket gate and turn left.    

Go straight ahead and take the escalator onthe front right down.    

After descending, make a U-turn and go straightahead.

[About 4 minutes to the bus stop] From Kobe Municipal Subway Seishin-Yamate Line Sannomiya Station

The ferry terminal is also easily accessible fromthe Shinkansen Shin-Kobe Station.
First, take the subway one stop from Shin-Kobe Station to Sannomiya Station.
After getting off the subway, head toward the East Exit.    

After exiting the ticket gate, go left andwalk straight.

The shuttle bus departs from Mint Kobe’s Bus Stop No. 6. However, for the 00:30 departure connecting to the 1:00 a.m. Kobe ferry, it departs from Bus Stop No. 9, so please take note.

From Shinkansen Shin-Kobe Station, the Port Loop bus is also convenient!

From Shin-Kobe Station, you can also takethe Port Loop bus, which offers direct access to Kobe SannomiyaFerry Terminal.

The nearest bus stop is KIITO-mae (SannomiyaLibrary).
After getting off the bus, walk straight to the right toward the building in front of you, cross one traffic light, and you will see the terminal.
It takes about 5 minutes on foot.
