Through this event, the concept is to develop Osaka into an International Art City and Kansai into a region vibrant with art, making Osaka and Kansai an even more attractive city for art.

Just as Taro Okamoto's Tower of the Sun from the 1970 Osaka Expo remains in people's memories, this art festival is expected to serve as a new opportunity to showcase the charm of art to the world during the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.

A beautiful museum designed by architect Tadao Ando will host the exhibition Reshaped Reality, which questions what it means to be human. The exhibition focuses on hyper-realistic human sculptures, delving into the essence of humanity.

In the Senba Area, the exhibition Re: Human - The New Conditions of Humanity, curated by Kota Kishimoto, will be held. It questions the essence of humanity amidst technological evolution, globalization, and shifting values.

Chapter 6: The Creative Economy and the Future of the Earth (Osaka International Conference Center)

The Osaka Prefectural International Conference Hall, designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa, will host Study × PLAS: Asia Art Fair. This international art event will be jointly held to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea. The art pieces will not only be available for viewing but also for purchase.

South Korean actor and artist Ha Ji-won will also exhibit her art at the special exhibition.
