What is Namba SkyO Convention Hall / Meeting Rooms?

Namba SkyO Convention Hall / Meeting Rooms is an urban MICE facility equipped with a flexible hall for up to 460 attendees, along with multiple meeting spaces that can be selected according to event needs. In addition to its unbeatable convenience—being directly connected to Nankai Namba Station—the location offers excellent accessibility to the vibrant Shinsaibashi and Namba commercial districts. With retail complexes and hotels just steps away, the venue provides everything required for smooth event operations, making it a highly attractive business hub for a wide range of MICE events.

Since the facility is operated using 100% renewable energy, it is an ideal choice for those who wish to host SDGs‑conscious meetings and events.

Excellent Accessibility

Namba SkyO is located in Namba Terminal, where commercial facilities such as Namba CITY, Namba Parks, and Takashimaya Osaka are concentrated, making it extremely convenient for event participants. There are many accommodation facilities in the surrounding area, and the adjacent Swissôtel Nankai Osaka can be accessed directly via an internal corridor. It is directly connected to Nankai Namba Station, providing excellent access to all lines connecting to major cities. Kansai International Airport, Osaka, and Osaka Station can be reached by train or bus without changing trains.

Past Event Case Study

Company Anniversary Event

Venue: 7th floor hall (Whole)

A neighboring company hosted its landmark event, the 100th Anniversary Appreciation Gathering, at Namba SkyO.
The first part featured a Commemorative Rakugo Performance, in which three Kamigata Rakugo performers presented their signature storytelling acts.
The second part was a Networking Reception, organized as a standing buffet-style party.
More than 120 participants—including company representatives and invited guests—came together to celebrate this significant milestone marking the company’s 100 years of history.  

A key factor in the success of the commemorative event was the smooth operation of the Rakugo performance, which served as the main program of the celebration.
Our hall staff—who have extensive experience in hosting Rakugo events—took the lead in providing clear guidance and attentive support to address the client’s requests and concerns. We also carefully prepared the essential elements unique to Rakugo performances, including the setup of the koza (performer’s stage), ensuring that every detail was arranged with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.

Corporate Business-Matching and Networking Event

Venue: 7th floor hall (Half)
A joint business matching event for innovative startups and companies from Japan and overseas was held in our 7th‑floor hall.
On the previous day, a corporate exhibition titled DocoDemo Festival Osaka (DD Fes) took place at Namba Square, located directly in front of the hall.
The hall was used as the dedicated business meeting area, with a total of 29 companies setting up individual booths for B2B discussions.
Organizers highly appreciated the venue’s outstanding accessibility—directly connected to Namba Station—and the convenient, easy-to-navigate route from Namba Square, where the exhibition was held.

*Facility usage fees include standard lighting, air conditioning, and power supply.
*The reserved time must also cover the organizer’s setup and teardown.
If the hall cannot be locked at the scheduled end time, extension fees will apply.
*Extensions are available in one-hour increments when necessary.
“One-hour extension fee” refers to the hour immediately before or after the reserved time.
Extensions are limited to one hour before and one hour after the reserved slot
(with exceptions for weekend and holiday use of the 7th-floor hall).
In principle, extensions may start as early as 8:00 and go as late as 22:00.

*Extension fees for Meeting Rooms 1–4 (outside normal business hours) apply only when extended usage occurs simultaneously with extended usage of the 7th-floor hall.

*Additional charges apply for venue setup and the use of ancillary equipment such as screens and projectors.
*For setup on the day before the event (e.g., pre-event preparation), please consult us at the time of reservation.
*Partial use of the 7th-floor hall is available on weekdays only.
*When the entire 7th-floor hall is reserved, the fee includes the use of Waiting Rooms 1 and 2.
*When the hall is used divided, Waiting Rooms 1 and 2 are optional (¥50,000 per day).
