Ouchi-jyuku is a tourist spot in the Aizu region of Fukushima. 400 years ago, this was a town where travelers took a break when heading from Nikko in Tochigi to Edo (Tokyo). Many houses still have the kayabuki style roofs (*3) which remind people of the Edo period (1603 - 1868).
