Tulip fields will stretch as far as the eyes can see once you park your car and walk along the road. The sight of 1,500,000 tulips stretching far and wide in a vast land of three hectares is stunning.

Couples take photos while children run about, each spending the time in their favorite ways. Taro, a root vegetable and local specialty of Gosen, are used to make taro soup and taro steamed buns, which are then sold during event periods. The beginning to middle of April are the best times to see the cherry blossoms while the middle to end of April are the best times for tulips.
