The admission for one adult includes access to the hot springs and gym alongside the rental of facility wear, towels, and amenities. It's a highly attractive option for just 2,000 yen.

Formerly known as Spa World: The Great Bath of the World, this spot celebrated its 25th anniversary and reopened as Spa World Hotel & Resort on July 1, 2023. The 8th-floor pool area features a new outdoor infinity pool with a view of the Tsutenkaku Tower, a bar, and booths for families and couples to relax in.

2. Natural Hot Spring Naniwa no Yu

Natural Hot Spring Naniwa no Yu is a superb "super sento," or public bath, located on the 8th floor of a building.

Situated approximately an 8-minute walk from the Tenjimbashisuji 6-chome Station in the heart of Osaka, it boasts a100% natural hot spring source with an open-air bath, small bathtubs, lying baths, multiple saunas, and an outdoor bathing area. Basically, the facility is well-equipped. Additionally, the admission fee for one adult is 850 yen (950 yen on weekends and holidays), making it an attractively priced option that costs less than 1,000 yen.

There are also three restaurants in the facility where you can enjoy delicious meals, including shabu-shabu, soba, and offal ramen along with chilled drinks after bathing.

3. Solaniwa Onsen OSAKA BAY TOWER

Solaniwa Onsen OSAKA BAY TOWER is directly connected to Bentencho Station. It is the largest hot spring theme park in the Kansai region that can be enjoyed all day.

It features nine types of baths, including open-air baths where you can enjoy natural hot springs, foot baths in a Japanese garden, privately rented open-air baths (*), and seven types of rock saunas, making it a hot spring facility packed with options. Furthermore, the facility is themed around the Azuchi-Momoyama period, allowing visitors to enjoy yukata-clad festivities and games. Bath-goers can easily immerse themselves in a festive atmosphere!

Additionally, there is a rest area where you can take a nap, with a collection of 15,000 manga and magazines available. This allows visitors to enjoy leisure time at their own pace, whether it's soaking in the hot springs, dining, reading, or playing games.

4. Aqua Ignis Kansai Airport Izumi Onsen

Aqua Ignis Kansai Airport Senshu Onsen is a day-trip hot spring facility accessible by a single train ride to Kansai International Airport.

Located close to the sea and the airport, its main feature is the stunning view from the open-air baths. It's here where guests can enjoy a natural hot spring along with a picturesque view of airplanes and the ocean. The Senshu Onsen, known as the hot spring for beautiful skin, features a gentle alkaline natural hot spring that has skin-beautifying effects.

The regular admission fee is 700 yen for one adult. However, it is available at a special one-coin rate of 500 yen on weekday mornings from 7:00 to 10:00. Additionally, the facility includes a cafe, restaurant, and souvenir shop. Guests can even enjoy a daily breakfast buffet from 7:00 to 9:30. The Natural Open-Air Hot Spring Spa Suminoe is a facility located within the leisure facility MAG's SUMINOE, where you can enjoy activities such as bowling, batting, and tennis.

The facility uses natural hot spring water drawn from 700 meters underground, and the indoor baths feature six types of jet baths. Additionally, there are two open-air baths with themes of forest and bamboo grove (alternating between male and female use weekly), a lying bath, small bathtubs, sauna, and various other baths in a healing space surrounded by greenery.

Inside the facility, there is a restaurant serving udon, set meals, ramen, and much more to satisfy your hunger after bathing. With an admission fee of 750 yen per adult (850 yen on weekends and holidays), it's an easily accessible option for a relaxing visit.

6. Tsurumi Ryokuchi Yumoto Mizuharu

Tsurumi Ryokuchi Yumoto Suishun in Osaka is a large day-trip hot spring facility offering natural hot springs.

The facility features over 10 baths, including open-air bathtubs with flowing hot spring water, 6 types of rock saunas, a loyly sauna, and also includes a fitness facility. The hot spring water, which springs from 1,300 meters underground, is certified as a "healing spring" with therapeutic qualities.

Inside the facility, there are not only restaurants and cafes but also a children's play area, making it a spot that can be enjoyed by couples, friends, and families with young children.

Kamigata Hot Spring Ikkyu is a hot spring facility located about a 10-minute drive from Universal Studios Japan (USJ).

The facility uses 100% natural hot spring water that has not been diluted or reused, providing the opportunity to enjoy authentic hot springs in Osaka. It is divided into two areas: Kino Yu, where the scent of wood fills the air, and Ishi no Yu, which exudes an elegant atmosphere. Each area offers various baths, including Kansai's largest open-air baths and saunas, allowing guests to fully enjoy the bathing experience.
