What is SPINGLE?

SPINGLE is a handmade sneaker brand founded in 2002.

The company's head office and factory are located in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture, where craftsmen manufacture sneakers every day.

More than 20 years have passed since its birth, and SPINGLE is loved by many fans. They are known for their unique fans, including collectors who have an eye for limited edition colors and reprints, and repeat customers who always buy the same pair of sneakers.

SPINGLE releases new types of shoes one after another, but there are some models whose designs have not changed since their release. The model name that has been loved since the brand's genesis is SP-110. Our employees and enthusiasts call it ICHI-ICHI-MARU.

Entry to the factory premises is prohibited.

The factory that manufactures sneakers has murals painted by local middle school and high school students and sneaker prints designed on the outside walls. This is one of the most impressive photo spots in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

The peace in front of the factory is filled with paintings of irises and giant purple flowers. The great purple butterfly is an endangered species that has been designated as Japan's national butterfly. You can see the beautiful giant purple lily from mid-June to early August every year at the violet saki conservation area in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

SPINGLE's headquarters, which stands across from the factory, has 110 huge monuments. It is a unique object that will make anyone who sees it want to take a commemorative photo. If you ask a local if you want to go to the building where the shoe monument is located, they will easily give you directions.

Experience the manufacturing process of SPINGLE

There is a shoe store, GLOBAL SHOES GALLERY, next to the main building where the monument is located. Inside the store, there are small exhibits including tools actually used in the manufacturing process and photos of old factories. You can also watch videos of the factory and manufacturing process. In addition, you can actually see and wear SPINGLE's various shoes while listening to detailed explanations from store staff.

SPINGLE sneakers are handmade at the factory mentioned earlier. When you listen to the story behind how a shoe is made, you will realize how wonderful that shoe is. Those experiences are truly amazing.

Features of SPINGLE -Design-

SP-110, SPINGLE's standard model, is a shoe created through trial and error by shoemakers at the time, trying to create a unique design using a manufacturing method that cannot be imitated anywhere else.

In spring, when the cherry blossoms bloom, we sometimes release cherry-colored sneakers for a limited time. The sneakers in the photo are SP-110 Light Pink.

In particular, it features a rolled-up sole in which the outsole extends over the shoe itself, a design that has now become SPINGLE's icon.

Craftsmen also do the work of rolling up the soles, so if you look closely you will notice that they are handmade, such as the slight differences between the left and right sides. By the way, the soles and the tape surrounding the shoes are made of rubber, and are kneaded from natural rubber and other materials at SPINGLE's main factory.
