"NAKED Night Walk™️" is a night walk event planned, directed, and produced by NAKED, INC.. Up until now, we have created scenes where you can enjoy the charms of hot springs and tourist spots at night.
This time, it has been decided that the event will be held at Natadera Temple, one of the most famous spots in the Hokuriku region for viewing autumn leaves. Located in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Natadera Temple is one of the constituent cultural properties of the Japanese Heritage "Culture of Stone." The temple is famous for its unique stone scenery known as "Kiganyusenkyo." Matsuo Basho also visited the temple during the Edo period, and a haiku about this scenery is included in "Oku no Hosomichi." Natadera Temple values "natural wisdom," which values respect for nature, and natural beauty, and will deliver the beauty of Natadera Temple in autumn, which can only be seen at night when it is lit up, and the beauty of the autumn leaves.
In addition, the popular art lanterns "NAKED Distance Lanterns®︎" at NAKED, INC. events will be available for rental in limited quantities (500 yen each including tax). "NAKED Distance Lanterns®︎" are also participatory art forms that allow participants to create light art on the spot using the light of lanterns of various colors and patterns that each person holds.
Artist Ryotaro Muramatsu's "DANDELION PROJECT" will be making its first appearance in the Hokuriku region with the aim of praying for the recovery and reconstruction of the Noto region.
The "DANDELION PROJECT" is a participatory art project that plants (installs) interactive dandelion art objects "DANDELION" around the world, making flowers, a symbol of peace, bloom all over the world. It has traveled to 61 locations around the world, including Paris, San Francisco, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Kyoto, and will be exhibited at Hiroshima Orizuru Tower as part of the G7 Hiroshima Summit Partners Official Program in 2023.
This time, DANDELION was installed on the observation deck overlooking the Kigan-Yusenkyo of Natadera Temple, facing the Noto region. Participants in the "DANDELION PROJECT" will deliver prayers for recovery and reconstruction. When participants blow on DANDELION like blowing on a dandelion, digital flowers bloom in the Kigan-Yusenkyo, creating an interactive art experience.
